| 10/4/2 | Spike Vs BBK Vs Chris Bond for the TV title | BBK, Chris Bond |
| Losing the TV title....No chance The scene opens with a shot of a long highway and as the camera zooms in, it begins to focus on a black, Ford Mustang. The car slowly veers towards the side of the road and pulls to a stop. The window is wound down and a Korn CD is blaring out of the cars speakers. Spike leans forward and turns the radio down as his phone is ringing. He looks at the name on the screen and sees that it is his sister phoning him. He answers the phone and begins to speak. Spike: Hi Sarah. Sarah: Hi, where are you? You said you'd be here about half an hour ago. Spike: I know, I got delayed in traffic, you know how it is. Probably some dumb woman driver that can't remember which pedal does what. Sarah: That's not funny, women are good drivers. Spike laughs a little and replies. Spike: You know I'm only joking, most of the time anyway. I should be there in about fifteen minutes. Is that okay? Sarah: Yeah, that's fine. See you in a bit. Spike hangs up the phone and tosses it back onto the passenger seat as he turns the radio back up. He pulls back onto the highway and continues to drive. About twenty minutes later, he pulls up outside a quaint, detached house. He grabs his phone from the passenger seat and opens the car door. He shuts the door behind him and locks it. Spike walks up to the gate and opens it before calling out to his sister. She appears at the front door and greets him with a huge smile. Spike walks up the steps to the door and hugs her. Spike: It's been a long time hasn't it. Sarah: Too long. How are you? Spike: I'm fine, busy but I'm fine. How are you? Sarah: I'm okay, works fine and I've finally been able to book that holiday I wanted. Spike: Good, it's about time you had a break. After a few more moments of the usual pleasantries, the twm go inside and Sarah gets them some cold drinks. They talk for a while about family and friends and catch up in general on the time since they last saw each other. Eventually, as always, the topic of conversation tends towards Spike's latest match. Sarah: We we're all really proud when you won the TV title. It must have been a great moment for you, in front of all of those fans. Spike: Yeah, it was, but winning the gold meant more than what the fans thought, but that's just the way it always is. Sarah: What's the deal with your new partner, Wolf isn't it? Spike: Yeah, it is Wolf. Let's put it this way, I feel like I can rely on him to hold up his end, not like Y2RR. He won't let me down, he wants it just as badly as I do, so I know he won't let me down. Sarah: I know, you're probably going to think that I'm stupid for saying this, but do you really have to pick a fight with Murderous Intent, and now the Regime? I say this as a concerned sister, I don't want to see you get hurt. Spike: Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself. And to answer your question, yes we do have to go after Murderous Intent. Even if they didn't have what Wolf and I want, I think we'd still go after them. Both of us are sick of seeing them pushing everyone around and imposing themselves in matters that don't concern them. As for the Regime, we didn't know that was going to happen, but that's the way life goes, you have to roll with the punches. Nothing will stop me and Wolf now, nothing. Sarah: I understand, but you've got to know that I'll still be concerned anyway. How are you feeling about your title defense this week at the big show? Spike: As good as I can do. It's triple threat, so that doesn't bode well for me, I don't even have to be pinned to lose the belt. But if I know BBK, he won't be happy unless he pins me and the same could probably be said for Chris Bond. Truth be told, BBK is pissing me off now, he's trying to get inside my head and psyche me out before I even get in the ring with him. It's not going to work though, I'm not listening to any of his bullshit anymore. Everything I've done that concerns Murderous Intent in the past has led me to where I am now and this is exactly where I want to be. Not only am I going to finally show BBK that I am better than him, but a week later, I get to take his tag title from him. He can talk all he wants about me backing away from him before and him punking me out, 'cause this week, I'm going to show him that he's the punk. He may be right, until now all there has been between me and him is words and it's time for that to change. At Blaze of Glory, we'll let our actions speak for us, and I'll tell you this right now, I'm going to be the one speaking louder. Sarah: I know that there is all this animosity between Murderous Intent and High Impact, but just don't forget about Chris Bond is in the ring with you as well. You've said it yourself, you can't underestimate him. Spike: I wasn't planning on it. I know that Chris Bond is lethal, hell, I've said it from the start, but he won't beat me. He might think that he has a chance, what with me and BBK being so preoccupied with each other, but neither of us will forget him. Chris Bond is an amazing talent, no doubt about that, but if it is his time, he's just in the wrong place. I know that I will use every breath in my body to make sure that I walk out of the show with the title still around my waist and to be honest, I'm not sure if he is willing to make that sacrifice. I don't know if he's willing to put it all on the on the line for one moment of triumph, but I guess we'll see. The name of the event is quite fitting really, it's one that could some up the way I look at my entire career, win or lose, I will go down in a Blaze of Glory. Spike looks at Sarah for a few moments as she still has a look of concern on her face. After a moment of awkward silence, Spike breaks it by offering to take her out to dinner. The two of them stand up and get there coats as the scene slowly fades to black. |
