the time is drawing near...

The scene opens up with a shot of a room that is nearly in complete darkness, except for a few shadows cast by a light from the doorway.  Suddenly, Spikes figure steps into the doorway, only his outline can be seen as the light is still coming from behind him.  He notions towards the room filled with darkness and he starts to speak.

Spike: This is the type of place that should be kept for people like Attitude Adjustment.  They are a disgrace to the tag team titles.  No-one should have to be made to watch one of their matches, they should be banished to a dark place where no-one will ever have to see or hear from them again.  No-one should be subjected to the ramblings of a man like Extreme Warrior.  He seems to be a relative of the Duracell Bunny, he just keeps going and going and going.  Will he ever stop talking about how he has my number?  How I can never win when he is in the ring with me?  I don't think he will, until this week anyway, when I prove to him that he has no effect on me what so ever.  Extreme Warrior, did you ever really stop and think about the two matches that we've faced each other in?  the two matches that you seem so proud of.  i don't think you have, 'cause if you had, then you'd realise that you've never beaten me.  You say I've never beaten you but you've never pinned my shoulders to the mat or made me tap out either.  Until you do that, you've got nothing to brag about.

This week, will be round three between us, and I'm sure there will be many more.  But the one I'm looking forward to the most will be next week, when we take the titles back.  Sure this week will be good, but all it'll do is dent your ever increasing egos.  But next week, that'll be the best one.  When you realise that the titles that you hold so dear are back around the waists of High Impact, it'll crush your egos.  I want you to pay attention to this Warrior, 'cause I'm only going to say this once.  There is no way in hell that I am walking out of Sunday Night Slam without a tag team title shot.  I will stop at nothing to watch you or Austin lying flat on your backs gazing at the stars while me and Wolf celebrate the win.  I know that you've got your heart set on going after a singles title now, but that dream will either be put on the back burner for a while or destroyed in the process.  Do you really think that when it comes to a choice between you and a shot at the Provincial Heavyweight title, that Mike will choose you?  If you think that then your seriously deluded.  He'll stab you in the back any chance he gets and screw you over to get what he wants.  I used to think that it was a real shame when peoples hopes of glory were shattered, but in this case, I'll make an exception.  In fact, it'll be a pleasure to watch you begin to fade into nothingness.  

Spike walks into the room a little and flicks a switch on the wall.  The lights come on and are dimmed slightly.  Spike enters the room and walks over to the window.  He looks out of the window, looking over a large field.  The moon is high in the sky and casting strange shadows around the trees.  He sees a small animal running across the grass, being followed by what looks like a fox.  Spike smirks ti himself and begins to speak again. 

Spike: That's very fitting that that has just happened.  It's the classic analogy, the weak being hunted by the strong.  It's the way it has always been and always will be, survival of the fittest.  That's what it's going to be this week as well.  I know that I'm not prepared to be the one called weak, and I know that Wolf isn't either, but the question still remains, 'What about Attitude Adjustment'?  Are they ready?  When they faced us before, I'll admit, me and Wolf weren't ready for them, but now, we're bringing our 'A' game so to speak.  We are going to show them why High Impact are the top level in SCCW.  We're going to show them why we are the strong and why they are destined to be the weak ones that are bought down in our paths.  

Mike, I was pleased to hear about your other accomplishments.  Actually, that's a lie, I couldn't give three shits about your other accomplishments.  I don't give a rats ass if you were the CWA champion or the GCW champion, this is SCCW.  It's a whole new level.  Your past means jack shit around here and that's the way it always is.  When you start out somewhere new, you start at the bottom and work your way up, if you can.  I did, I started at the very bottom of this company and now look at me, I'm the Franchise of this company.  As far as SCCW goes you're just a glorified rookie.  I hope you realise what you're doing this week Mike.  I'm pissed at you for stealing our tag titles, but that's all you've done to me.  Just imagine how pissed at you Wolf is.  You've screwed with him one to many times and I think that Sunday will bring the beginning of the end of it.  Just two more weeks, and you'll be a thing of the past to us.  Never again will I have to hear the name Mike Austin and see you walking around with our titles.

Spike turns around to look directly at the camera. 

I was thinking Mike, I think Extreme Warrior is a man of his word and that he has integrity.  So I think that he's out in this match to win anyway you guys can, but not you Mike.  You can deny it all you want to, but I'm sure that it'll just be a matter of time until you stab him in the back to get the win.  This Sunday will be the start of something you two are both in need of, an Attitude Adjustment.  Your cocky, egotistical ways will be coming to an end very soon and I can't wait to be one of the guys to do it.  

Spike takes his eyes off the camera as the scene slowly fades to black.
