soon... The scene opens up with a shot of a Spike sitting in his locker room. He is sitting on the floor, leaning in the corner. He looks up at the camera slowly as begins to talk. Spike: I find it hard to believe that Extreme Warrior can question my ability in the ring. Not only do I have the past accomplishments to prove my worth, but I have this right now. Spike points at the Tag team title belt that is lying on the floor next to him. Spike: It doesn't stop there though does it. You actually question if myself and Wolf would've won if it wasn't for that guy interfering. Well let me ask you this, would you have won your debut match if it wasn't for Wolf's interference in it? You can't answer that can you. It's the type of question that doesn't have an answer, what if? No-one knows, so you accept what did happen and move one. It's good to see that you agree with me about SXP and Ju Chan. They will be in the match, but they won't be the person that I will be focused on. You have done something over the past week that you didn't want to do. You have caught my attention. When I found out about this match, I wasn't concerned at all, don't get me wrong, I still aren't, but you have opened my eyes to your potential. You may be in the prime of your career, you may just be starting out, I don't know, but what I do know is that I'm going to enjoy kicking your ass this week. You say that I'm committing suicide by not finding out about you before our match, well that may be the case, but I like to live dangerously. Not knowing what you are letting yourself in for has it's advantages. It makes sure that you are ready for anything. There's going to be four men in the ring all trying to get the win, so believe me when I say that anything could and probably will happen, but that's okay. I'm ready for anything and I will stop at nothing to get the win. You say your going to be the poison that stops me, well try all you want, but from past experience, nothing can stop me, not you, not a natural disaster, nothing. I will walk out of Slam with the title shot and you know why, 'cause I just want it more than you do. Spike leans back against the wall and brushes his long hair from his face. He looks back at the camera and starts to talk again. Spike: SXP, I heard what you had to say the other day, and I've got to say, I like your way of thinking. When you said that you would stop me from taking back my title, it struck me as odd. Even though your close friend BBK is the champ, you still think of it as MY title. That's very nice of you to think that way, and don't worry, seeing as you think it's mine anyway, I'll have no hesitations about taking it back. As for High Impact, we know exactly what we are doing, and between myself, Wolf, Gametime and Cage, we will see the downfall of the Regime. You may think that it is written in stone that the Regime will take over, but stone can be broken and so you can you. This week, I'll take another step in the direction of your downfall when I take out a little bit more of my anger and frustration on you. And then, well then it's back to BBK and MY title. SXP, you think you're extreme, just wait till you see what I do to you this Sunday. I don't care if you do what you say you will, beat me up, bust me wide open, all that will do is make what I'm going to do to you just that bit more. For every punch you throw at me I'll come back with two, for every drop of blood that spills from me, there will be a gallon from you. What I'm trying to say is that if you're part of the Regime, you're part of the problem and I will contribute to fixing that problem. Ju Chan, what else can be said about you that hasn't already been said. Well, there isn't much is there. You will give it your all when you step into that ring, no doubt about it, but it's just a shame that you're 'all' isn't quite good enough. I'm stepping my game up for this and so should you. This match has changed from what I thought would be a white wash to what may turn out to be the show stealer. There's going to be three other men in the ring with you Ju, so all I can say to you is be ready, I am and I know the others are, so be ready or get blown away. Spike stands up straight and starts to walk away from the car. He takes a few steps towards a small wooden bench and looks beyond it. The clearing comes to an abrupt end and drops suddenly by about thirty feet. Spike stands there looking out over the crystal clear waters of the lake below him. There is complete silence for a few moments until there is a gentle splash in the water. Spike looks down over the edge to see a young child jumping into the water and swimming about. He also notices that the child's parents are enjoying a picnic by the side of the lake. Spike: It's quite the juxtaposition isn't it. The serenity of my current surrounds compared to the violent nature of my usual surroundings. I have a feeling that this week will be more chaotic than usual, and I have one man to thank for that. That's you Extreme Warrior. You were right, I should've looked on the internet for you, find out what I'm up against. You know what thought, I did that and guess what it bought up. Nothing. Well, nothing worth mentioning anyway. In case you don't realise, the reason I don't know about you, let me spell it out for you. I don't care. If I dig deep enough then I probably would find something about you. The only problem about that is that I don't need to know where you've been, what titles you've held or who you've beat, 'cause that's all in the past. This is the present Warrior, me and you going at it is the present. Looking at your past record won't change the way I look at you, not yet anyway. The only way I will start to realise that what you say about yourself is true, is if you beat me this week. Until then, I'm going to treat you just like everyone else. It'll be an interesting one Extreme Warrior. In a few short days, I've gone from not really caring whether you're in the match or not to wanting you there. I want some competition and I think you're just the man to give it to me. Deep down, we both know that the deciding fall will involve me or you so do me a favour, I want everything you've got this week, so then there will be no excuses, no feeble reasons for losing, it'll just be down to who is better, me or you. Spike turns around to face the camera again as he starts to walk back to his car. Spike: It seems that since Wolf and I won the tag team titles people have been calling us paper champions and unworthy of the belts. But let me ask you this, if we're so easy to beat, why didn't Murderous Intent retain the titles? And why is it that there are literally no other teams that want to step up to take us on? Let me tell you why. It's because we ARE the best tag team in this company and everyone knows it. If people think we won by a fluke or that we don't deserve the belts then feel free to step up and try to take them. A week ago I would've said that Wolf and I were going to dominate SCCW, but now, with Gametime and Donovan Cage by our sides, High Impact will dominate SCCW and there isn't a damn thing the Regime or anyone else can do about it. Spike opens the car door and slams it behind him. He pulls back out of the dirt path and starts driving down the main highway again as the scene fades to black. |
