Vs. Bill "The Basher" Banky

Bill "The Basher" Banky

"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled.  They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake.  These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one."

Friday night firefight, the debut

The scene opens up with a shot of a large poster.  It shows the new logo and image of the new SCCW show, Friday Night Firefight.  The camera zooms out of it to reveal that it was inside the back cover of a newspaper.  Reading the newspaper is Spike, wearing his usual attire, blue jeans and black t-shirt.   He folds the paper shut and looks up at the camera in front of him.

Spike: Bill Banky, now that's a weird name.  Did you add the Basher part to try to sound more imposing, 'cause Bill Banky hardly strikes fear into the heart of an opponent.  Do you know what one of these is Bill?  It's a newspaper, try picking one up occasionally, actually, to be more specific, try picking up this one occasionally.  You see, nearly every week, they re-cap the SCCW events in it, and if you took the time to read them, then you'd find a little but out about me, you wouldn't be going in to this match not knowing what to expect.  I would give you a history lesson about me, but there's just to much to tell, so I won't bother.

Actually, I will tell you one thing that might be of interest to you.  As you seem to be one of these guys that always says "I'm hardcore, I can take anything", I thought I'd point out the title belt that is currently resting on my mantle piece.  It's called the Lethal title, and it's defended under what some might call 'hardcore' rules.  Now I would let you try to prove that you are in fact as 'hardcore' as you say you are by putting it on the line, but there's a slight problem.  It's a Sunday Night Slam title, so I can't do that.  You want to urge me to put something on the line in this match though don't you.

Spike pretends to think for a while and after a few seconds, puts on a mocking tone and continues.

Spike: Hmmm, what can I do that will be as high profile as unmasking your assistant, 'cause god knows we're all waiting with baited breath for that one.  I know, if I lose to you, I will get back up and shove my foot so far up your ass you'll  be cleaning my feet with your tongue for the next week.  How about that?  I don't have to put a damn thing on the line in this match.  If I did, it'd be of my own accord, not because some little punk ass bitch tells me to.  This match is going to be fought on my terms not yours.

You think I'm scared pf you just because you can beat up and intimidate the ring crew and the announcers, well I'm not.  In case you didn't know, I don't scare too easily and I don't get intimidated by guys who come into a new place thinking they own it.  You're nothing to me Banky and that's the way it'll always stay.  I think it was John Malkovich in Con Air that captured it the best, so I'll quote him, "for me, you're somewhere between vermin and the white stuff that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty".  You mean nothing now and you never will amount to anything.  I hate the types of people that talk a big game all week long and then manage to receive the single biggest ass kicking of their lives once they step into the ring.  Are you one of them Banky?  I guess everyone will see soon enough.

Spike stares directly into the camera for a few moments to let his words sink in before he pushes the camera away from him as the scene fades to black.
