We selected a weekend in October to visit Sitges. This is a little town on the coast of the Mediterranean highly popular during the summer.
In order to get there, you need to drive through a horribly zigzagging road. The road is a two way road. The only cool thing is that you can take pictures very close to the sea.
Check how to spell Catsup in Catalan:
The town of Sitges is very colorful. It is full of little streets and it is fun to walk (it does not take long to go from the beginning to the end). There are a lot of little shops where you can go for a coffee or read the menus in Catalan (not Spanish). We visited during election times, and luckily a political candidate offered us coca con xocolata which is a type of dessert (a cake) with melted chocolate very common of this region. The chocolate is very thick. The best thing ever!
In this town, everybody parks wherever you want. Nobody cares about the Police. I had a picture showing how we parked illegally but due to liability reasons I took it out!
During Halloween we were able to find a punkin.
In Pamplona, there is famous a running marathon (of only 5 Km) called San Silvestre. On Dec. 24th, everybody wears customs and you run in a very cold night. I tried to take a shot of the dresses but I couldn't. There were people also running for real and they were dressed appropriately. However, there were guys dressed like the future Queen of Spain, or like soccer players...like batman, like referees... you name it.
This is a picture of the ADSL Modem from Telefonica. It took two months to arrive, although it is advertised to arrive in 48 hours.
