I have a 16 year old daughter, I have been homeschooling her now for 2 years. She started drinking and smoking when she was 13 so I pulled her out of public school and put her in a private school which seem to make matters worse, children with money to burn seem to think they have nothing better to do then spend money on drugs. My husband and I are having a hard time keeping her in line. I was against spankings at first, but my husband thought it might be good for her. We found it works pretty well, more for the fact I think she is embarrassed for her father to see her bottom. She argues with us that we were 20 when we had her and drank and had fun all of the time, but the truth is we did and we don't want her to do what we did. My husband is in a band, and I can;t say that he does not go out and have fun, but he is the adult and she is the child and we can;t seem to get that point across. We are looking for a school that is strict that can keep her in line. We live in Oregon, do you know of any private school in Washington or Oregon?

Hi I am fourteen and I was just given a spanking and I am writing to you with a very sore bottom. So I make this fast because I am having trouble sitting right now.

I got my report card today and my grades were very poor, I fail math and I knew my parents were going to be mad so I hid my report card from them but the school called. DO you think this was fair because I don't think it was fair I am too for a spanking

Well I told you that I was going to get it. Boy did I.

I waited all day for my father to get home, when he did we had dinner then he inform me that I was going to be getting a spanking.

I begged him not to spank me but there was no getting out of it.

They called my parents again and when I got home today my father was waiting to give me another spanking.

So now I have been spanked three days in a row my butt feels numb and everytime I sit it throbs and hurts like heck.

i think 10-20 nice hard swats on a childs bare behind is nothing but teaching them a lesson that they need to learn. i like the drop set pajama idea alot it helps the ritual aspect.

I came across your site and I am hoping that you can help me. I will be moving from my parents home in the Midwest to the West Coast to live with my Aunt and go to college. My Aunt has agreed to support me while I go to school. Now my parents and my Aunt have been talking a lot about what needs to be done in order for me to move always from home. My parents are concerned about my upbringing and about me "going wild" once I move away from home.

My parents are very strict and have always used spankings as their preferred form of discipline. My mother not only still spanks me but she spanks me on my bare bottom using her hand for small offences and her wooden hair brush for more serious disobedience.

My Mother and my Aunt have been discussing my Aunt continuing to use spankings as the preferred method of disciplining me spanking me the same way my Mother does. They both as well as my Father think that would be best. At this point it is a condition of my living with my Aunt and her paying for college. They want me to sign a contract between my parents, my Aunt and myself stating that we all agreed that my Aunt spanking me would be in my best interest while I live with her and that I agreed to it. It also states that I agreed to obey my Aunt and all rules she might set for me.

Do you think that this is too much to ask of a 18, almost 19 year old girl? I'm not sure how I feel about it.

I am a 23 year old male in the USA. And I used to receive spankings. My spankings was usually bare bottom or sometimes with my pants on. The bare bottom ones was usually after a bath by mom and dad both. To me I don't really believe much in this discipline. Cause your teaching your kids that it is ok to hit when you get angry. But my point is if I ever had kids I would use the form of taking away privileges like PS2 or Computer or phone. Or even take away his or her favorite shirt. To me I couldn't think of a more effecting way to discipline a child. But I do believe maybe a swat to get the child's attention is ok. But to me it hurts me to think parents spank there kids cause that is the only form of discipline that they think is out there. There is a lot of other good forms of discipline then Spankings. I say this cause I still hate the word spanking. Makes me sick to my stomach. I even sometimes cry when I still see spankings given. Parents should think before doing this.
