NEW LOCATION -- We have a new chartered organization. The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and we will be meet in the VFW room of the Veterns Building in Pleasanton on Main St. from now on. Our old chartered organiation was J & G Tires. "Betcha didn't know that." ;)
NEW DAY - We now meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The 3rd Tuesday will be planning meetings which all committe members and officers are invited to attend.
NEW OFFICERS -- Rock the Vote at the election meeting on Sept. 10. The nominees are:

BACKPACKING -- The trip had planned for Labor Day Weekend has been post-poned due to a lack of preparation. It will be scheduled at the Calendar Meeting on Sept. 24.
YOSEMITE -- We may be doing a service project to allow us to backpack and also to recieve a discount. Alex will be taking care of this outing.
MISSING -- Joe Stieber's Venture Officer Training Video is MIA. It was last seen around this time last year and Michelle is alledged to have had it last. (She is pleading the fifth in response to such allegations.) Please notify me or him if you have any information leading the the safe eturn of his video
THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME CHANGES AROUND HERE -- To increase the efficiency of our crew and hopefully reduce the number of outings that are cancelled, we will be choosing one weekend that will be the outing weekend for every month. We will also assign at our yearly planning meeting one Crew Member and one Advisor to be in-charge of thier designated month. |
