Mike Ash is one of the few remaining "original" Space Cowboys. He has been a member of the team since the beginning, four years, and many leagues ago. As they have worn on, Mr. Ash has been depended on more and more to help this team win. Althogh he is the second member of the "I'm not Skinny" club, along with Jeremy Jeffries, Mike has come into his own and is one of the most feared members of the Space Cowboys.

Mr. Ash still remains the only Cowboy to have ever had the chance at and completed a four point play. This is not an easy task to do, it takes a very slow shot and the ability to fall into the defender as you take the shot, to complete this task. And he seems to be able to accomplish this feat, time and time again.

Three pointers though, are not where Mike struggles. The one place where there is ninty nine percent room for improvement in his game is with layups. Nothing is a given when you have this man running the break. It does not matter whether there are three defenders on him or no one on the same half of the court. Mike will always find a way to throw wide open layups hard off the back board, or even off the bottom of the rim. But in the big picture Mike Ash is a "big" part of this team, and so goes Mike, so go the Space Cowboys.
