Michael Brinkman is not the first name that comes to mind when thinking of the great Space Cowboys, but he is not to be overlooked. Although Mr. Brinkman has yet to sport the Cowboy orange on the floor, his presence is enough to make the other team sweat. He has been working on his game for weeks now and is feels he is ready to compete at this level. Mr. Brinkman's game is one that is tough to contain. He can burn you in so many ways. The most feared of his moves is the "calling out". If you dare score on him he will most likely call you a "bastard", or "son of a bitch". You really don't want to get him started, because once he gets going, he's in the zone. Other than that Michael is not much of a threat. But all that can be asked is to give 100%, and that he does. He defintly gives his all out there. |
Mid-Summer Update:
| Midway through this Summer Season and Mr. Brinkman still has yet to suit up for the Space Cowboys. With such a successfull season the powers that be haven't seen a good opportunity to get this kid some playing time. But although he hasn't been on the court, Michael has been to most of the games and supported the team as though he was one of them. He has been there through thick and thin, and if he can continue to stick it out, his time is bound to come. |
