THE OCCASIONAL ORBITER October 16, 2001 Vol. 46 Hey fellow Cowboysl of the Space Variety, whas happenin? It's time for yo occasional reminder. The Space Cowboys will try to get on the winning track in this young season, Tuesday night, October 16th, at 7 P.M. at Sports of All Sorts in Florence. The 'boys will be taking on the "thugg e. thuggs" of 84 Lumber. Going from their performance prior to the last week's contest the home team has a legitimate chance at obtaining their first victory of the Fall Season. That chance grew even larger after the results of a recent shoot around. A number (#) of the 'boys were showing remarkable improvment. Mr. Scott Trame was making some free throws and believe it or not, Mr. Michael Ash was "en fuego". He was making pretty much everything he put up there, including layups. We just hope this "good" play is "contagious" and continues Tuesday and beyond. Tuesday's game will also be "Oooo it's a Lady(s) Night" and in honor of all the ladies, Mr. Leon Phelps will be attending and signing autographs before tipoff. Also the first "sweet thing" in attendance will recieve a complimentary bottle of cavarcie` to be enjoyed when you and Mr. Phelps leave the game for your "random occurance". it was brought to our attention that in honor of all the ladies Leon may show up in just his orange lanyard. That is still up in the air. The "no shoes, no shirt, no tighties, no service" policy of Sports of All Sorts is unknown at this point. But there are still a plethora of reasons to come out to the "big arena by the highway" tomorrow, Tuesday, the 16th, at 7 P.M. **** News and Notes **** Injury Report: Jeremy Jeffries is recovering nicely from his knee sprain. Although he is not 100% he will defintly be in the lineup. Scott Eibel receieved a high ankle sprain in last week's loss. There is swelling and discoloration, but he will also be ready to go come gametime....For those of you following the loyal and non loyal of the "Cowboy Caravan", one Ben Young now has a legitamate excuse for never making appearances. Mr. Young now resides in Louisville. Michael Brinkman on the otherhand, still resides here in "NKY" and just refuses to get off his lazy ass....We here at the Occasional Orbiter would like to apologize for the confusion with last weeks attendance numbers. Due to the poor job of revision by our staff the "*" next to the name of Ms. Lenihan was left unexplained. We felt the Ms. lenihan deserved some sort of recognition although she could not attend the game. She had very much hoped to be able to make it, but with living in Louisville and having to be back for her schooling, the time of the contest made that impossible. Still, Mr. Brinkman just chose not to. That will be all for this reminder, don't forget to come on out and support the home team, tommorrow the 16th at 7 P.M. at Sports of All Sorts in Florence.
