THE OCCASIONAL ORBITER

     Hi, hello and welcome once again fellow Cowboys of the Space variety, 
to this edition of your occasional reminder.

    The Space Cowboys will be in action tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4 at 7 
P.M. at Sports of All Sorts in Florence.  The 'boys will be trying to avenge 
their first loss of the season.   They will be facing the Nit Wit "thugg e. 
thuggs"  These two (2) squads met in the season opener with the hometeam 
coming out on top sixty-three (63) to fifty-six (56).
     It is bound to be one heck of a basketball game, so come out to support 
our 'boys in their push for the best season in Space Cowboys franchise 
history.


                        **** News and Notes ****

     Keith Lubbers will be making his second (2nd) straight appearance as an 
emergency replacement tomorrow night.  John Rasp will also be dressing this 
week as a precautionary measure.  Mr. Rasp will have to earn his spot after 
this game.  If he does not perform the way we know he can, Mr. Michael 
Brinkman will take his spot on the roster for the next game....Mr. Ted 
Arlinghaus has made it known that he is finished for the remainder of the 
regular season.  His status for the tournament is still unknown.....Kevin 
Brinkman had a career game in the first round of the International League 
Playoffs for the Earth Cowboys.  He had a high in points, 17, rebounds, 3, 
and charges, 27, in the 'boys victory.  Congratualtions to Mr. Brinkman and 
all the members of the Louisville Earth Cowboys, we wish you luck the rest 
of the way.
