THE OCCASIONAL ORBITER

    Hi, hello and welcome to the newest of your occasional reminders.

    The Space Cowboys will be in action once again tomorrow, Tuesday, July 
31st, at 8 P.M. at Sports of All Sorts in Florence.  They will be taking on 
the "thugg e. thugg" Hustlers.  The 'boys will be looking too tie their 
record of three (3) straight victories, along with setting a new one for 
three (3) consecutive victories to begin a season.  There is no information 
available on the Hustlers, but we're sure they're not as "fundamentally 
sound"  as the Space Cowboys.
    So don't miss out on this great matchup, tomorrow night, Tuesday, at 
Sports of All Sorts in Florence at 8 P.M.  And if solid basketball wasn't 
enough reason to come on out, just hold on!!  This week will be the most 
spectacular giveaway ever!  This week will be "Orange  Underwear Giveaway 
Night".  That's right, immediatly following the game all six (6) of the 
'boys personally will present their "underoos" to the lucky winners.  So get 
to the arena early, who doesn't want some sweaty oragne underwear?  Doors 
will open at 7:43 with pregame festivites starting approaxamatly at 7:54.

                      **** News and Notes ****

    As mentioned in an earlier edition, Space Cowboys Kevin Brinkman and Dan 
Resing will not be present at this week's competition.  Due to their 
absensce management has gone ahead with the "call up" of "emergency 
replacement" Keith Lubbers....Also missing this week, once again, will be 
Michael Brinkman.  Does anyone even like this kid any more??....The "Ben 
Young Watch" will continue this week, as he has said he will "try like hell" 
to make it to the rest of the games.  We'll see, won't wew Benjamin....We 
here at the Occasional Orbiter would liketo apologize to Liz Goetz who was 
missed in the attendance of last weeks game. But as promised we have 
corrected the error and we are very sorry for the inconvienience.

                **** Space Cowboys Softball Update ****

    The Space Cowboys softball team has won the first game in it's brief 
history!!  You heard right, the 'boys won a game; and yes the other team was 
even there!  They pummuled the opponent ten (10) to five (5), or so.  Don't 
expect the winning to keep up though, as the home team did drop the second 
game of the doubleheader.  But on a positive not, they did take it the full 
seven (7) innings.
    The Space Cowboys Softball Team will be in action once again this 
Friday, August 3rd.  The time for the game will be forthcoming.  And it has 
been brought to our attention that only one (1) game will be played rather 
than the scheduled doubleheader because the entire team is taking a trip to 
Cedar Point.  They figured that's the best weay to keep from losing again.  
just don't play.
