THE OCCASIONAL ORBITER Heelloooo, fellow Cowboys of the Space variety, yes, it's time once again for you occasional reading. **** New League Delayed **** It was reported in the most recent edition of the Occasional Orbiter that the next league for hte Space Cowboys would begin this coming Tuesday night, July 3rd. That date has now officially been pushed back at least one week due to the lack of teams entering the league. It appears that once the 'boys joined the Tuesday night league others fearfully abandoned it. At least 27 teams have refused to play on Tuesday night's because the dreaded Cowboys will be roundin up any and all opponents. And in fancy new "uniforms" too. So, te leauge will be temporarily delayted, with play scheduled to resume on Tuesday, July 10th, at Sports of All Sorts in Florence. **** Space Cowboy T-Shirts Now Available **** After over a month of anticipation, the wait is finnaly over. The new Space Cowboy t-shirts have been recieved from Eggelston & Maynard Sports and are available for pick up. You can pick them up from Nick Lubbers at any time. But remember, you will not be given a shirt without first paying off you balance of thirteen (13) dollars ($) to Mr. Lubbers. You will want to get your shirts as soon as possible as they are the coolest things you will have ever laid your eyes on. **** Space Cowboys Softball Update **** The Space Cowboys Softball team didn't disappoint in their game this past Friday. The 'boys actually held a lead late in the game only to blow it and fall by about fourteen (14) runs. Shotty defense can be blamed on the loss, as Tony Sargent committed at least three (3) errors out in the right field. Mike Ash broke out of his season long "O for" with a career game, compling three (3) doubles. (Note: those double most likely would have been triples for anyone else). That will be it for this edition of the Occasional Orbiter, but keep your eyes open for your next "occasional" reading. And, as always, new subscibors are always welcome, just send an email address to occasionalorbiter@hotmail.com and say "new subscribor"! Editor-in-Chief Nick "Stud" Lubbers wee eee wee eee
