We are very pleased to announce that Connex Southtrans are the new owners of Pioneer Coach Company effective from January 15th 2001.

Connex Southtrans currently services the southern suburbs of Sydney with 23 bus routes within the St George and Sutherland Shire regions and we are excited to be expanding our bus operations with the addition of Pioneer Coaches.

Connex Southtrans is a subsidiary of the Connex Group, one of the world’s leading private operators in passenger transport. In addition to Connex Southtrans in Sydney we also manage and operate the Metro Monorail and Metro Light Rail systems.

Business as usual
We want to assure you of our commitment to maintaining all existing services. This means it's business as usual with the exception of how we will look. Over the coming weeks our buses will undergo a change in colour and design sporting the yellow and white livery seen currently on the Connex Southtrans buses.

Our new telephone number is 9540 2277 but don’t worry if you forget as the old number will automatically be diverted to our office. You can also email us businfo@southtrans.com.au and for convenience you will now find timetables for Route 452, 453 and 455 listed on our website.
