I've been to Imax many times, but its been 3D and doco type films and not an action regular 2D type of film. And Batman had about 7 strictly Imax shots that were breathtaking views looking over tall buildings etc, and all the other scenes were regular footage redigitized for Imax.

Not so much the storyline but the astonishing screen size. And its all in your face! Like, REALLY IN YOUR FACE!!! This was so distracting I didn't follow the story at all, much. I really need to see this film again on dvd, blueray or at the typical bourgeouse theatre which I have not frequented for years 'cept The Grand Theatre at Warriewood (which is no cheaper than Imax.)

So yes, what one can get from the play, is all the violence and certainly too disturbing for some and the dominant role of the 'casual' Joker. Now its this guy that one of the Police Commissioner's assistants said, ' he attracts paranoid schizophrenics'. Interesting. So I brought this up today in my periodic 'Talks with a Schizophrenic' a session with a local, real life one. He brought to bear a number of things being that in his earlier episodes he was aware of what he was doing and the decision he made to do it. So where does Section 32 of The Mental Health Act come into this I wondered...?? You know, the getting of 2 or three strikes before you are out when commiting a crime. While the common people get no strikes but don't do the crime either.  Hahah of course this law exists just to save $ on these nuffies.

Another thing brought up was that his doctor claimed he was no more a paranoid schizophrenic, but an Effective Schizophrenic. And then some months later suggested that he may be Bipolar. Well, well, well.

Now I do remember the time when gay meant happy and nothing else. I also remember when a pilgrim was a person, a seeker of the truth if you like, struggled on a path towards his God or truth a la The Pilgrim's Progress and not hundreds of thousands of kids travelling in groups on modern transport to all meet at one destination to hear the words of who in his last job went to great lengths to cover up the peadiaphilia rife in the Catholic Church.
This has got to be the 10th Wonder of the World.
