Snowbirds 431 Squadron emblems

 

The below shots were taken at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Rockliffe in the summer of 1988.

During the Second World War, Rockliffe was an important marshalling point for mail
heading overseas to the troops fighting in Europe.
Sometime after these photos were taken, the base was decommissioned,
and the property sold to private interests.
