Upon arriving at the BAT and realizing they needed help, she immediatedly decided to stay for a while and waitress, since the owners were now practically family to her anyway. Knowing that her older brother was away on the crusades, she had little to worry about returning home any time soon.Uriko Torikama left the Dark Forest Castle on her fifteenth birthday to go spend it with best friend Hirashime who was currently living in Maethen City. Upon arriving at the BAT and realizing they needed help, she immediatedly decided to stay for a while and waitress, since the owners were now practically family to her anyway. Knowing that her older brother was away on the crusades, she had little to worry about returning home any time soon. Xun was the leader of White SeeD stationed in Aityaia, and since they were just establishing themselves, their commander had rented rooms at the BAT for them. After meeting and talking several times with Eji they became friends, or as close to being friends as anyone to Xun could get. Uriko however had seen him off and on during his stay at the tavern and each time she saw him, he put her in awe. She had never been outside of the castle and seen other races besides night elves and she was convinced no one, anywhere could look better then he did. She brought herself to say something to him and the conversation wasn't much.. hardly ten words, but at least it was something. Uriko wouldn't give up. The more she talked to him and found time to spend with him, gradually the more she learned about him, and the more he learned about her. It got to the point where he would start a conversation with her instead of her chasing after him. The progress was slow but at least it was progress. It hit beyond a friendly relationship suddenly, and very quickly...Uriko wanted to be closer to him and it seemed, even though he wouldn't say anything, that he felt the same way. They would spend most of the day together and then most of the night locked up in his room. Despite everything, Uriko had fallen for him and she wanted to know why he acted the way he did...why he felt the need to push everyone away. Everyone away...but her. She wanted to make him happy and it seemed like that would never happen. IRL Background: Uriko was solely created for an offline girlfriend for Xun as well as a main character for my Blue Aura Tavern Story. BAT:Creation was a fun Cleft-based story of how the Blue Aura came to be. Since not much story has progressed from there to here the storyline hasn't changed much, just the cameo characters in it. Through out all Uriko has remained a passive, smiling, friendly face and a sincere young woman. She is a master of delaing with pain which is why she is also a devoted healer. Uri is one of my favorite characters...she and Xun's relationship reminds me of almost a modern-day 'Beauty and the Beast' and has become the inspiration for several other characters. |
