After finding out that her friend has settled down, she came to visit and check up on her, bringing her wind dragon, Sage (Sora has a dragon named Kuzuryu, and the two got along). Upon staying at the BAT she met Eji's young apprentice Grem, who was living and training up at the Seirya School. Sora treated him like a younger brother and the kid was adorably cute, but Jasmine herself was a tomboy, a fighter, and not looking for a relationship so she would be tied down. However, during a fighting session out on the ocean, Sage was shot at by a group of Ryu Hunters and badly damaged. He and Jasmine lay on the apart of the remote beach on Aityaia for hours awaiting help and when it seemed like no one would ever show up, along came Grem out for an evening walk. He took care of the two, patching up the dragon's body with healing spells he had learned and offered to go after the hunters for her. Jasmine never thought it possible but when he delivered the two poachers to the Hantaa Girudo the next morning the girl was hit by a wave of shock. Sage, feeling indebted to the boy offered him a contract, much like the pact riders made to their dragons on the day they were united and Grem was not allowed to refuse. Jasmine now shared her dragon with the kid and as much as it bit at her, she learned to accept it. Grem then wanted to start learning about dragon rider abilities. Eager and smiling, he followed Jasmine around like her shadow, trying to get as much information out of her as he could. She would eventually get used to his waves of adoration and determination as he evenly traded them by protecting her. A relationship was not wanted, but it happened anyway. IRL Background: Jasmine was originally created to RP with Grem on CoD, but since his untimely death by the hands of Tyrael, Jas's rps were put off practically indefinately and she died out as both a char on Cleft and a character for me. That was until the Time Meld was pulled from thin air and Shaman King began it's English debut. I now had a storyline comprised for the dragon knight and a place to pull it off. Jas, like others, is a symbol of what happened early in my RPing life and how it has changed over the last few years. She isn't as close to me as some of my characters are, but she is still one of my oldest characters and you always give credit where credit is due. In this case, Jasmine deserves a lot of it. |
