She was unsure and timid and clung to him all the time, which I found very cute. There are scenes from the BAT:Creation story where she is in her sprite form lying with him in bed, cuddled up on his bare chest. Nothing happened...Yuki would never lay a finger on her that way...but they would simply snuggle during the evenings, grateful for a little bit of attention from the other. I still, even now and even though Yuki has Alana and Faun has Sabel believe they would do something like that. That's just how Yuki and her are around each other. She knows she can run to him for protection and Yuki knows she will always be there for him. It's not a deeply romantic sort of love...it just kind of is a love, a pure, innocent one. Faun reminds me a lot of myself, which is why I can connect with her as well as I do. She is a friend to many, a devoted lover and a smiling face to anyone around her. She has her weaknesses...those being the ones she cares about with soft spots for Yuki and Sabel and she's had her share of heartache. Faun is about as human as it gets and I love roleplaying her simply like that. |
