Author's Note: Immense Boredom in the fall conspired into this short story. Some parts of it might not make sense because I went off my own ideas without conspiring with Mia (sorry sis!). But, I found a side of Aceya no one's ever seen before, because he's always been to polite. It's an illegal RP because it was never posted anywhere, but I think now it's best as just a short story. Read over it and tell me what you think.
"Kina, where are we going?" Aceya asked as he followed her through the dark bamboo thicket.
"It's a surprise." She responded as she ran ahead of him. "You'll see soon enough."
His perfect hearing picked up the sound of water and his nose could smell it, but he decided not to say anything. His eyes picked up a light up ahead and lagged a few steps as Kina raced through the wall of bamboo that seemed to be blocking their path. He was amused with her childish eagerness as well as her game of tag. Racing through the bamboo thicket his silver eyes widened at the beauty around him.
They had been traveling up the side of a mountain and had stopped for the night. Kina said she was going to go take a look around and Aceya stayed at the campfire. No sooner had she left then he had curled up and fallen asleep, only to be woken many hours later by her excited voice, demanding he follow her. He had considered staying at their camp and sleeping till dawn, but staring at the landscape around him no, he was glad he had decided to go.
The steep slope prevented the lush bamboo from growing any further and a river cut down the side in a waterfall, wearing out the rock and creating a nasty overhang, plummeting into a deep pool. Behind the cascading falls was a small cave of some sorts, where a million glow worms lit up the water with a brilliant blue glow causing the rock and water around to absorb the beautiful cerulean light. Steam rose in great amounts where the falls hit the pool hot water mixing with cold and continuing in a tiny trickling over the east side of the pool's edge, continuing a small stream that reached further down the mountain and into darkness.
"Wow" he stared around them, his pale eyes reflecting the light blue glow.
"Isn't this beautiful?" she breathed softly before turning and looking at him. A mischievous smile crossed her face for a moment as she let his silk jacket- the jacket she had taken while he was sleeping because she complained that she was cold- fall from her shoulders revealing bare ivory skin. She saw his face go red and couldn't help but giggle. "Come on," she teased as her gold eyes looked back out on the scenery around them, letting the white and blue coat fall to the sandy rock ground. "I want to get in and try the water out."
Aceya watched his jacket fall off her pale naked body, his steel gray eyes widening, and immediately adverted his gaze. An ache shot through his body causing him to jerk his head slightly and take a deep breath. This was going to kill his self-control he looked back up at her, taking in her lean form that was glowing, like everything around them. Her back was turned to him as she placed a foot in the water and immediately jerked back, not used to the temperature. The onyx curtain of hair fell to the base of her white-and-black-striped tail which covered around to lay up against her butt and the back of her muscular calves. A thin line of black fur covered each of her ankles in an animalistic bracelet that was somehow sensual to him. His mind was a million naughty thoughts, his body was now throbbing and his heart was pounding a million miles a minute. 'She brought me out here on purpose she deserves what she's gonna get'
Burgundy streaks tore across his cheeks in a stinging sensation and he knew for at least the next few moments he wouldn't be able to fight the change. His fingers peeled off his tight black tank top as his muscles began to surge and expand, throwing it on the ground. His hands fumbled with the buttons on his pants as they became massive paws, his fingernails growing into hard, sharp nails. Canine teeth elongated into fangs that were just barely hidden underneath his lips. Ears changed into a cat's as his hair transformed, freeing itself from it band and becoming a wild veil of dark red. His eyes flashed once and then twice, his pupils narrowing into cat-like slits as they changed to a pretty amber gold. Just as his boxers hit the ground a long tail emerged around his side, brushing up against his thick legs. He growled a warning, giving her a narrow second to turn and look at him in shock before he pounced her, shoving him and her over the edge and into the steaming pool. 'I'm going to let her find out just how dangerous I really am'
He emerged on the surface a minute later laughing as he pushed his long bangs out of his face. Kina came up a few feet away from him hissing and spatting as she shook her head, flicking her cat ears to get the water out of them. "You monster!" she shouted as he grinned widely at her. "I don't believe you!"
"You asked for it." He said in a smirk, his upper fangs showing as he taunted her. "That's what you get for standing completely naked in front of me."
"Like you weren't staring!" she shot back, licking her hand and then wiping locks of black hair out of her face.
"Like you aren't now?" he cocked his head to the side a little as he caught her eyes glancing over him.
Her pale cheeks went crimson and she growled. "That's it!" she shouted, making her way toward the rock edge. "I shouldn't have even woken you up! Who could have thought I could have a moment to relax with you around!"
"No you don't." he pushed off the sandy bottom, wrapping his arms around her stomach.
"GET OFF OF ME!!" she whipped around at his touch, her claws striking him across the face in a surprisingly strong strike, jerking his head to the side. Her hand fell limp at her side, not believing that she had hit him for a moment.
He let go of her, the back of his paw coming to rest across the scratch marks. He knew with that impact she had undoubtly drawn blood. He hissed, the hurt feline inside of him immediately taking offense, but the human immediately taking blame. "I'm sorry." He said after a minute, the roots of his hair beginning to change black again.
"Aceya" she stared at him for a moment before her instincts took over and she pounced him resting her head under his chin. If she had thought over what she was doing, she probably would have considered it way to girlish, but at the moment she didn't care. She ducked her head, meowing pitifully.
The boy's body tensed, his yokai powers surging again at the touch of her body up against his. His hand fell from his face as he wrapped both arms around her. "It's okay. I forgive you. It was my fault." He spoke softly running his fingers along her back.
The feeling of his claws gently rubbing her skin made goosebumps form where he was touching and she purred, her body vibrating softly up against his. She felt him tense, felt his throat swallow up against her and felt his fingers twitch. "Kina" his voice was raspy and dazed. "That's not helping"
She laughed as she moved back, looking up at him. "Neither are your caresses on my back." She noticed the four marks across his right cheek, where she had struck him. They were bleeding, trickling red down his handsome stripes and collecting on the edge of his chin. She leaned up, licking at his chin with her rough tongue and then standing on tiptoes as she kissed the thin scratches, using her tongue to clean the wounds. Aceya closed his eyes, holding her slightly by the waist in case she slipped. A deep noise rumbled in his throat and he realized he was purring like she had moments before, a weird sound to listen to. It occurred to him in an almost startling realization that he had never acted like this before.
She nuzzled her face against his neck as her body shook slightly with his, pressing up against him. He gasped and then immediately growled a warning. "Do that again and I won't control myself. Who knows what I might do."
She looked back up at him, smirking smartly. "And which part of you wants that, the cat or the human?"
He opened his eyes to look at her, and her breath fell short as his eyes flashed gray. "I'm one person and I make decisions as one person. But-" he growled. "I was cat before I was human." His eyes narrowed looking down on her in an eerie blue glow as his golden hues stared down on hers. "I've acted human for so long that I never knew how to be anything else. With you, I can be anything I want." His arms pulled her closer and she made no move to fight him this time. He lowered his head, his mouth dropping by her ear, as he whispered, "You're a tiger. I'm a panther. Aren't you going to prove to me who is more powerful? You're a direct descendant of Byakko, and I'm not. Tonight, my animal instincts are strong, to the point where I don't think I can't transform back till I get what I want. And you Kina, are what I want."
She gasped at what he was telling her to do, and she swallowed. 'Fight him off or give him what he wants. Where's the Aceya that was there to protect me and stay beside me?' "Aceyathe human side of you, where has that gone? Where is your reasoning?!" she snapped pulling away from him.
"I'm here" he said softly. "Kina, it not as if I'm a monster. It's just this craving; it's driving me crazy" his face blushed. "I'm no good with words. What I want is you. I love you, you know that. Allow me to show you that, through this form. My instincts, my body, it's all telling me one thing: fight me as an enemy or challenge me as a mate. Either way, one has to happen or I won't be satisfied tonight."
She sighed, closing her eyes. She knew if she hadn't brought him here this would have never happened. No it would have only been delayed. Their animal side was indoubtly stronger then their human and it was only a matter of time before he had realized and acknowledged that fact. This wasn't just a man standing in front of her, but a massive wild cat. Looking at him once more, she took in his muscular feline form, watching his breath come in deep heavy intervals. She was not disappointed with his physical looks by any means, and she knew that she returned his love; at least she thought she did her best to. The thought had crossed her mind more then once, and even though she was afraid, she was ready. So why was she hesitating? 'Desarei...' she swallowed. 'He already had another mate; another lover. If I challenge him, it's for a lifetime. As long as I am alive, I cannot take another. But hecanwill he?' the truth was clear now; it was a matter of trust.
"I-" she started, causing him to look over at her. "I need to know something." He silently nodded, waiting for her to continue. "I think that I can trust you, after all this time we've spent together. I'm a white tiger," she looked at her paw, squeezing her claws into her palm till her nails began to pierce the skin. "If I choose a mate, it's for eternity." She swallowed again. "CanI trust you to stay by me, forever?"
He closed his eyes and reached out for her. Hesitantly she moved into his arms. "I am sorry, that you don't trust me, because of my past relationships. Desarei was a Tara, a lioness yokai. I might have loved her at one time, but I realized that I care more for you then I ever cared for her. It sounds cruel, but it's the truth. She and I are similar, she will move on and find someone else." He looked down on her with adoring golden eyes. "My place is by your side, and I'd be honored to spend eternity with you."
She smiled at him, nuzzling her face up against his chest. "Then I want you, forever." She replied pouncing him and sinking her teeth into his ear.
He growled, playfully nipping her neck and watching her jerk back. She hissed, her eyes seeming to come alive, glowing mysteriously as she touched into her power, just as he had. She pulled away jumping a full ten feet back and creating a massive wave. She brought a paw up, splashing him straight in the face and watched him shake his head and flick his ears, trying to get rid of the water. He lunged forward grabbing her and pulling her under the water and holding her there.
Kina resurfaced to find herself alone in the pool. She looked furiously around trying to find where her guardian had gone and smirked when she realized he was crouching behind the waterfall, his shadow evident as it blocked out the glowworms. She jumped out of the water, gasping as she went through the cool waterfall and took down Aceya who was surprised by her sudden attack. She fell on his chest only to be reversed and find her back pressing up against the cold rock surface.
Her eyes were dazing; she growled slightly in weak protest as his teeth grazed her neck. Her spirit energy was rising, her skin overtaken by white and black fur. He pulled back, watching her intently and saw her eyes fall closed. He purred up against her, assuring her everything was okay. He was at the end of his control but he demanded that he get through a few more minutes to say something.
'Lord Byakko,' he swallowed 'I'm sorry that I took Desarei as my own and then turned on her so deliberately. Back then, I was afraid of this side of me and I tried to hide it away. I did not believe in you at all, My Lord. Then I met Kina, a direct descendant of you. I know I should be considered nothing in her eyes; I'm not along a direct line and I'm a half-breed nonetheless. I'm honored that she would want me, and deeply touched. I want her to have everything I can give her, including my human side, as she has one too. The human in me needs her as much as the yokai. I hope you will forgive me for taking one of your daughters. I promise you I will take care of her, even if it means the cost of my own life. Please, if this is the one time she can see me as a what a full-blooded panther yokai should be, let her see.'
Kina felt a mass hit her back, knocking her over. She hissed and found her voice somewhat scary. Looking back, she saw the elegant form of a female white tiger. She was no longer human. A weight hit against her forehead and she looked up, prepared to maul whatever was irritating her and came face to face with a beautiful face of a huge red panther. His golden eyes locked with hers as he lowered his head, running his face along her neck and purring all the while. 'Aceya' somehow she knew this gorgeous lean creature in front of her was him. She sat up, bringing a paw up on his back running the pads of her feet over his dusty crimson coat. He playfully nipped her ear and moved away from her, his nose clipping up against her back leg. She quivered; she knew what was coming and she was scared. Before she could protest he moved quickly, entering her.
Her human side screamed in pain while her tiger side yelled, hissing at him. "Kina," she could hear his human voice, soothing and talking to her slowly. "You need to drop your tiger defenses. If you don't, it's not going to help you at all."
"Aceya?" she felt his hand, his human hand, touch her face and she blinked taking in his steel gray eyes shadowed by long onyx bangs.
"I'm here Kina." He smiled. "I'm right here." His fingers intertwined with hers as he moved inside of her and she gasped, clenching her teeth in pain. As he moved slowly he leaned down kissing every inch of ivory skin between her breasts and her chin. The pain went away, and the pleasure somehow doubled, echoing from both forms. It became too much and her tiger spirit yelled out as she moaned. The red panther groaned slightly and Aceya's breath came in ragged gasps, his body shaking as he answered her. Water was splashing up from the nearby falls, bringing them both out of their passionate haze with drops of cold hitting their sweating bodies. The boy's arms collapsed, his upper body falling across hers. Kina swallowed; her legs were stiff her body trembling and yet she had never expected anything like that anything that good
"Kina," he sat up looking at her with his platinum eyes. He was smiling at her with a look she had never seen before. "You chose meI can't believe it"
"I love you." She told him softly, her voice quivering. "We get to spend an eternity like this"
He kissed her forehead. "I love you too." He chuckled. "I hope not outside on cold rocks in front of millions of insects. I'd like to lay you down in a bed maybe once."
"Yeah I guess." She giggled. "An eternitywhat if we have kids?"
His face went red for a moment. "Then they'll be quarter white tiger yokai and quarter red panther." He replied softly leaning down to kiss her. "A perfect combination."
She kissed him back before breaking away in laughter. "They'd be white cats with red stripes."
"Hey that would look pretty cool." He sighed contently, stretching his back muscles. "Let's worry about it later. Right now I want to stay in this moment. We have an eternity to think on it."
