I'm a Little Snow Person
(I'm a Little Teapot)
I'm a little snow person
Short and fat
Here are my buttons,
here is my hat.
When the sun comes out,
I cannot stay.
Slowly I just melt away.
Dance Like Snowflakes
(Frere Jacques)
Dance like snowflakes, X2
In the air X2
Whirling, twirling snowflakes X2

Snowkey Pokey
(Hokey Pokey)
You put your mittens in, you put your mittens out.
You put your mittens in, and you shake them all about.
You do the Snowkey Pokey and you turn yourself around.
That what it's all about
Sprinkle, Sprinkle Little Snow
(twinkle, twinkle)
Sprinkle, sprinkle, little snow;
falling down on us below;
small and white powdery,
such a joy for all to see.
Sprinkle, sprinkle, little snow;
falling down on us below.
Linda Ludlow - Mailbox Magazine
Five Little Snow People
Five little snow people standing in a row.
The first one said, "We are made out of snow."
The second one said, "I have a hat and button eyes."
The third one said, "We look like funny guys."
The fourth one said,"Fell how the cold wind blows!"
The fifth one said, "It might freeze my carrot nose!"
Then drip, drip, went the snow people
For it was a sunny day.
and the five little snow people drip, dripped right away

January
January's a very cold month,
Shiver, shiver, shiver
(hug yourself and pretend to shiver)
Button up and cover your ears,
(Pretend to button coat; cover ears with your hands.)
Or quiver, quiver, quiver
(shake all over)
I Love Snow
(Three Blind Mice)
I love snow, I love snow.
Soft, white snow; soft, white snow.
It falls on the ground so soft and white.
Sometimes it falls all through the night.
Did you ever see such a beautiful sight
As soft white snow?
Five Little Snowmen
Five little snowmen
Went out to play,
over the hills and far away.
When the sun came out,
It melted one away.
Four little snowmen came back that day
Repeat the poem, replacing the numbers appropriately, when you get to zero, use the stanza below.
Zero little snowmen
Went out to play,
over the hills and far away,
But when winter came back,
It brought snow along the way.
The five little snowmen came back that day.
Andrea Esposito - Mailbox Magazine
I Like Winter
(London Bridges)
Wintertime is frosty cold,
Frosty cold, frosty cold.
Wintertime is frosty cold.
I live winter!
Wintertime is stormy bold...
Wintertime is snowy white...
Wintertime is chilly bright...

Mitten Song
(Twinkle, Twinkle)
Thumbs in thumb place.
Fingers all together.
This is the song we sing in mitten weather,
When its cold,
It doesn't matter whether,
Mittens are wool
Or made of fine leather.
This is the song
We sing in mitten weather.
Thumbs in thumb place,
Fingers all together.
