Some of the ideas I use in my playroom and have posted on this page have come from this book.
Pumpkin Shell - have several items in pumpkin shell - take them out for the children to see and then put them back in and get children to recall the items.
Musical Tuffets - children use chairs as tuffets or you could make tuffets for the children to play musical chairs with.
Spider Legs - Place a body of a spider on flannel or magnetic board. Count with children as the 8 legs are added and then removed.
Hand Spiders - Positional Words - The children can pretend their hands are spiders. They can crawl on, behind, under, over, their own bodies.
