Panda Bears

The children will use pre-made shapes to make a panda bear.

Winnie the Pooh
Toilet Paper Tubes

This creative is from the website dltk-kids. I have included it in my bear curriculum for the past few years. The children will paint the tube yellow. The following day the children add a red shirt, yellow arms, legs and a winnie the pooh head. You can find all the patterns at dltk website.

Branflake Bears

The children glue bran flakes onto a pre-cut bear shape. The bran flakes make the texture of brown fur.

Teddy Bear Paper Plate

The children paint a paper plate brown or black. The following day the children glue eyes, noses and ears. I also give the children a bow to add - near the ears for a girl and a necktie for a boy bear. I add popsicle sticks or tongue depressors - so the children can use it during "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear."
