Personality: Calm, though can be quite violent when angered. Also obsessed with her idea of a perfect world

History: Jenna was born an echidhog in her village hidden in the Mystic Ruins. When she was ten, she met Hardrive - a strange wanderer not from the mainland. Her parents invited him into their home and for a year he lived with them. During that time, she and Hardrive had grown quite close.

Near her eleventh birthday her village was attacked by Robotnik's forces. Those who weren't killed were captured - her included. While in captivity, she was reunited with Hardrive just before she was taken to become roboticized. Hardrive attempted to rescue her but she watched him fail as she was changed into a machine. The explosion resulting from his efforts damaged her mental circuitry and when she reactivated herself after being blown offline she was filled with an intense hatred for him based on her warped view that he had left her to her fate intentionally.

Over the next few years she consolidated power for herself and struck at Hardrive as often as she could. She was often damaged from the encounters and on several occasions mistaken for dead. Eventually she left Tolaria for a time and established a base in Mecha, where she constructed the .EXE protocol - an AI system she could open herself up to. The program quickly grew into a self-aware virtual organism and took control of Mother, working through her to create a mechanical paradise for them both. It was through .EXE's influence that she adopted the desire to create a fully technological world free of organic life.

The release of the Spirit Beasts on Tolaria gave Mother her chance to eliminate all her enemies and during the following exodus from the island she used a variety of methods to keep the Raiders from sealing the beasts away - most notably the use of androids based on designs orignially constructed by none other than Hardrive. Eventually her plans fell through and Mecha was destroyed by a weapon known as the Lunar Howl. At the same time she was exposed as the head of the Gemini Foundation, a front she used to further her goals in secret.

She eventually resurfaced once more on Tolaria, working with the new Council that formed under Kilamo. Her last attempt to elliminate her opposition, this time through the construction of a global dampener field to eradicate the special abilities of her competitors, was stopped by the Raiders. In the resulting explosion, she was once more presumed dead - though no proof has been found to support it.
