History: Comodos was born a prince, the son of Emperor Kursam, the leader of the city of Corinth, which is located in another dimension (the portal to this dimension is currently over Tolaria). His father never cared for him too much, because he always saw the evil that was hidden inside Comodos, even when he was a child. Unlike his father, his mother, Lady Kiriyaa, cared for him dearly, like a mother should. His main goal in life was to become Emperor one day, and early in his life, his father began to deny it, saying that he could not let his city become corrupted because of the evil that Comodos would become.
Driven by the hate of his father, he began to break many rules and behave badly, developing an early passion for fighting and killing, as seen in the gladiator games that he often watched. With the help of a guard, Quintis, he slowly became a master of fighting with a sword, eventually two, and using the bow-and-arrow. All the while, when Comodos asked if he was going to become Emperor, his father still denied.
As Comodos grew older, he began to realize that behaving badly wasn't going to get him what he wanted; he began to act "good", doing good deeds, just in front of his father. He still hated him, and still had a sour heart. He figured that by acting good, that his dad's opinion of him would change. It didn't. His father eventually figured out that he was just faking it, and ignored everything he did.
Comodos eventually couldn't handle the thought of not becoming Emperor. When he was 19, with the help of his good friend Quintis, he set up a plan to kill his father. One night, when everyone was asleep, he snuck out of his room with his dagger concealed in his wrist guard. They set up for Quintis to take over the guard of Kursam's room, and Comodos went inside. Just when he was about to slit his throat, his dad woke up, and slashed out at the air with a dagger at the shadowed intruder. The dagger cut Comodos' lip, giving him his trademark scar. Kursam saw that it was Comodos as he ran away, and was infuriated. On his way out, Comodos told Quintis to run so he wouldn't get in trouble for letting him in. The next morning, Kursam had Comodos arrested.
Kursam passed the sentence for Comodos to be exiled from the city of Corinth. Quintis and another guard would ride until sunrise in the desert and release him wherever they stopped. He would be given no food, water, or weapons. However, since Quintis was an ally and Comodos had basically saved his life by warning him, Quintis had secretly stolen Comodos' dagger. He gave it to Comodos, and vowed that he would find him again, wherever he ended up; along with this, he told Comodos to go west, towards the city of Narsil.
The heat and lack of food got to him on his trek, and he ended up going southwest. He came upon the tribe of the Gorgnakhs, a bug-like race, who lived in the desert near Narsil. He ended up getting into a duel to the death with their leader, easily killing him and becoming their leader. He lived with them for a few months, and together, they launched an attack on Narsil.
Their plan was successful; Comodos had killed their emperor, and declared his leadership. Anya, the emperor's daughter who was next in line in the throne, was thrown in jail. He took good care of the city, doing all the good things an emperor should. During the first few months, there were some traitors who wanted to kill Comodos for killing their true emperor. They were either sentenced to death or put in the castle's jail. The citizens of Narsil learned to not disobey Comodos, for he was a harsh leader. He brought back the gladiator games, which he had loved when he was in Corinth. The citizens of Narsil loved it, too, but their former emperor would not allow the senseless killing.
Comodos was their emperor for four years, until the citizens began to rebel. A gladiator named Supreo conspired against the Emperor, speaking at the games after the fights, saying how Ulric, their last emperor, was their true leader. After an attempt to kill Comodos, by throwing a spear at him (which Comodos deftly caught), Comodos challenged him to a duel. Both warriors had never been defeated. It was Supreo's first time. He was beheaded. Comodos spoke to the audience, saying that there would now be harsher rules, and no one shall betray him.
Anya, who still lived in the jail, slowly heard the news from outside from the new prisoners that were now beginning to come in more. She was able to escape one day, and with the help of the magic jewel that her father had given her, cast a distress call to the Raiders for help, also creating the portal. Comodos caught her, and sentenced her to an execution for the next day.
Hardrive, Raven, Biff, and Tom came to the call. In their attempt to get to Comodos in the castle, they were captured and brought to him. They were also sentenced to execution, to be with Anya. They escaped from their chains and fought the three beasts that were supposed to kill them, doing just the opposite. After the last one was killed, the Gorgnakhs in the audience attacked. Comodos knew that he had no chance here anymore; the citizens were against him, and the Raiders were there to kill them. He took his horse and rode to the portal to Tolaria, and got inside. He met Helios, who introduced him to the Council.
After his tenure in the original Council, Comodos left Tolaria to form a new empire on a small island to the north, which he named New Narsil. Using a band of mercenaries he had trained in the arts of classical weaponry, Comodos swept through the meager defense mounted by the inhabitants of the island and declared himself emperor. Rather than abusing the people, however, he made their lives better through his experienced leadership. The largest city on the island was converted to become his imperial capital and a fortress was built to serve as his home.
Some time after he had consolidated his power, a stranger from Tolaria approached him with an invitation to join a new Council. Despite his reservations against resuming battle against the Raiders, he accepted the invitation and is currently part of this new group, though he visibly chafes under the leadership of Kilamo, whom he considers inadequate for the task of leadership.
