Techniques copied from others using the Hitokage Eye:

Assassin's Rush (Nearon) - Loki is able to briefly accelerate her movements to speeds too quick for the naked eye to readily perceive

Wind Vortex (Hardrive) - Wind currents around an enemy are accelerated in a circular motion, creating a small whirlwind used to lift the enemy off the ground and disorient them.

Star Shower (Rin of TRIfecta) - An area above the battlefield is darkened, lit by points of light which then rain down upon enemies in the form of hard-light lasers. Due to an error in her aquisition of this ability, she is unable to produce the aurora effect that the original attack, Aurora II, produced. Through practice, she has increased the effectiveness of the technique by learning to draw in ambient energy to further empower the attack.

Trance (Biff - Remnant) - Loki's Hitokage Eye changes from red to gold and the inner pinwheel revolves slowly around her iris. Normal anthros who meet her gaze are immediately reduced to a trance-like state in which they cannot move or form attacks or defenses.

Appearance:  Loki’s violet fur runs as smooth as velvet to the touch. She wears no clothing, but her bandaged forearms and shins are covered by a latex-like blue armor etched with the symbols of her clan. Her gloves and feet also wear such armor. Eyes are of a forest green, ever serious but with a touch of curiosity in their depths, and a scar runs across the right side of her face.

Personality: At one point in the distant past, Loki was very much the savage brute. Her demeanor and personality changed over the course of several infiltration missions into the Village of Hidden Shadow. To blend in with the people of the Sheira clan, Loki learned to embrace silence, etiquette and reservation. As such, she is one not prone to laughter or 'small talk.' Following the events that led her to flee her homeland, Loki gained an appreciation for all forms of life. Her only indulgence in terms of emotion is her curiosity and even that is kept tightly controlled.

History: The visage the Raiders have come to associate as Loki is merely the latest form the creature of the same name has assumed. In actuality, Loki is an Onikage, a species known in the Land of Shadows as Shadow Devils or Death Eaters. Her true appearance is guessed to resemble something between an insect and a lizard. Her approximate age is impossibly to guess as the Onikage live as long as the body they have copied lasts.

Being an Onikage, Loki grew up in an atmosphere of near constant warfare between her kind and that of the Sheira clan. She was taught early in her life not to question the nature of their war but to fight blindly as all good Onikage warriors. And so she did, her coming of age marked by a baptism of blood. She quickly rose in the ranks as one of the fiercest warriors of her kind and soon entered a group of elite warriors led by the Onikage leader, Fenrir.

Her exploits are unnecessary to explore in further detail, as are the identities she has assumed over the years. What truly matters is the course of events that followed her last assignment: the assassination of a member of the Sheira royal family in order to claim the valued Hitokage Eyes, an ability that had hitherto cemented the Sheira clan's advantage in battle.

Before setting out on this mission Loki was heavily trained and educated in the ways of the Sheira in order for her to pass amongst their kind unnoticed. Her integration had to be perfect, for her targets possessed the Hitokage Eye, a special ability that would pick up on any betrayal of her true nature. When the time was right and Loki believed herself ready, she replaced the patriarchal head of a noble household close to the royal family and sought to ingratiate herself with the daughter of the Kagedaimyo, Princess Midna.

Loki was able to successfully charm the princess and pursued a relationship with her so as to gain access to the other members of the royal family - or so she told herself. As time passed, however, Loki found herself fond of Princess Midna in a way she had never experienced before. Her feelings towards her conflicted with her natural Onikage tendencies, allowing her to be influenced by Princess Midna's beliefs and opinions concerning the war between the Sheira and the Onikage. Eventually Loki's feelings for Princess Midna became so great that Loki abandoned her mission and confessed herself to the princess, only to discover that Princess Midna had known what she was all along and had not judged her for it.

Their following time together was brief. Not long after her confession Fenrir came to speak with Loki and discover why she was hesitating. He was enraged to discover that his most loyal warrior had been turned due to feelings believed to belong only to the inferior Sheira clan. In an act of vengeance, Fenrir murdered Princess Midna in front of Loki's eyes. Loki held her dying love in her arms, and as a result, only succeeded in accelerating her demise as well as claiming her appearance for her own. The metamorphosis was observed by Princess Midna's elder brother, Baldur, his presence having been orchestrated by Fenrir. Loki was forced to flee, tormented by grief, guilt, and the desire to avoid killing the family of her beloved.

Baldur, however, was not content to let the one he believed to have murdered his sister escape. He pursued Loki into the forest south of the village and there engaged her in a battle so fierce that the scars upon the wilderness remain to this day. Baldur had subdued Loki and had moved for the final blow when a jutsu destabilized a tree in the already devastated portion of the forest they were fighting in. The tree fell and crushed him beneath it. Just prior to his last breath, Loki, keeping her distance, attempted to explain herself - to no avail. Baldur passed away cursing her and all her kind.

One of the traditions Loki observed in her time among the Sheira was how they paid respect to those they defeat an honorable battle - that of claiming one of the defeater's possessions for themselves. Perhaps due to her own bestial nature, perhaps due to the realization that she would inevitably have to return someday, Loki claimed one of Baldur's eyes for herself, granting her the ability to call forth the Hitokage Eye.

Unwilling to abandon Baldur's body to the creatures of the forest, Loki was able to free him from the tree that had killed him and returned to the Village of Hidden Shadow. Unwilling to stay longer than necessary, she traveled to the private garden of the Kagedaimyo and placed Baldur's body there. Upon her leaving she discovered Lady Freya, the mother of both Baldur and Midna, present. Loki fled to avoid further confrontation.

At this point in time Loki fled south, seeking both to escape her past (though her appearance was a constant reminder of it) and to make amends for the chain of events that destroyed four lives. She eventually heard word of the Raiders organization on the island of Tolaria and journeyed there, joining the group to accomplish her goals. She has since remained with the organization, despite taking a prolonged leave of absence shortly after the Void War.

At one point during her stay with the Raiders Loki was brought back into contact with her homeland. With Hardrive incapacitated due to Shadow Sickness, Loki informed the other Raiders of the existence of the Black Orchid, the only known cure for said sickness. This inevitably brought her back to the Land of Shadows where, in the final battle, she fought to defend Kagedaimyo Lady Freya against her former superior, Fenrir, whom she killed.

Some time later, Lady Freya visited Tolaria to complete her business with Loki. She allowed her to live, though she marked Loki's Hitokage Eye and placed a curse upon it, the effects of which only Loki knows.

Notes: On the nature of the Onikage:

The Onikage, in their natural form, can inflict what is known as Shadow Sickness through biting their victim. This affliction is primarily magically based and medically incurable save for a salve created from a flower known as the Black Orchid. When afflicted, the inner organs of the victim's body goes through an advanced process of apoptosis - cellular death - in which their organs gradually dissolve away. Unless treated, Shadow Sickness is always fatal.

The Onikage possess an ability to drain the life energy from one who dies near to them, and as such earned the name 'Death Eaters.' In addition to draining the life energy of the dying, they also change their form into that of the deceased.

The Onikage's natural abilities include that of increased speed, strength, stamina, and endurance. When using their full strength, they are comparable to a creature three times their size. They can endure a multitude of energy attacks and possess a minor healing factor that accelerates their recovery from small wounds.

Onikage are naturally incapable of performing jutsus or other special abilities. To be precise, it takes them a great deal of time and effort to learn such abilities and such abilities prove more taxing on them than if they were performed by others.

On the exact nature of the Kuro Hitokage eye:

The Kuro Hitokage possess the same functions as the typical Hitokage, as outlined below. Differences include the appearance (her retina becomes black) and the pain that accompanies the use of the Eye.

The first function of the Hitokage Eye is to observe the minutest movement an opponent makes in order to anticipate their next move. A skilled user can correctly asses an opponent's attack path and technique before they move, which has the physical benefit of allowing the user to dodge before the attack is thrown and the mental effect of keeping the enemy is a state of paranoia, fearing that the user possesses ESP.

The first drawback of the Hitokage Eye lies in the fact that if too many movement paths are observed, the user can experience a headache of immense proportions. For this reason, the Eye was never used in the rain, as the droplets provided too much of a distraction and was too painful to observe.

The second function of the Hitokage Eye is to copy enemy battle techniques. A master of the Eye is able to acquire hundreds of battle techniques in a lifetime, and as such, become stronger as they grew. When combined with the Eye's ability to read an opponent's movements, it is possible to complete an enemy's attack before they do, granting the user a psychological advantage over their enemy.

The second drawback of the Hitokage Eye comes when the user attempts to use a copied technique. If one's body is not used to such techniques, it will often respond negatively if pushed. As such, when using magic, a user is more susceptible to mana burn, and so forth.

The third function of the Hitokage Eye is the production of illusions. These illusions can vary in function but are most often used to disorient or confuse an enemy, rendering them susceptible to one of Loki's other techniques.

The third drawback of the Hitokage Eye is that all illusions produced by the Eye are only effective as long as the opponent's attention is focused on it. In the past, enemies have escaped being trapped within an illusion by wounding themselves so as to force their attention away from the Eye.
