| Tolaria, Also nicknamed the 'Element Isle', is an island in the sky,
similar to Angel Island (a.k.a. the Floating Island). The source of the
floatation is a mystery, and as more information is gathered, this
phenomenon may be explained. Due to isle's flotation, it frequently
changes it location, but it has never passed over land. It can be found
primarily off the coast of the mainland. To the casual observer, this island may not appear visible. But if one knows of it, and knows it's rough location, the isle appears as plain as day. This is one of the numerous defense mechanisms, meant to keep intruders out. As rumor of the isle spreads, it is gradually becoming more and more visible to the general public. In recent years, due to traffic between the mainland and Tolaria in the form of the Raiders, the knowledge of the island's existence has spread. Although it is not as well known as its Angel Island cousin, It is not unusual for mainlanders to find their way to its coast. |
