Answering the call of God in their lives, The Malit family founded B.E.M. in the year 2000. Since then, they have planted fourteen churches and built an accredited elementary and high school among the Blaan tribe. The name of the school is the Blaan Dalel Christian Academy or BDCA. The Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless Foundation of Atlanta are the co-founders of the school where a scholarship program has been set up for high school graduates.
The Blaan tribe is among many of the world's unreached people groups. Most of them have never heard the Gospel. Many Filipinos in other parts of the country do not even know that the Blaan tribe exists.
The Malits are currently evangelizing and discipling nationals so that they can carry out the "Great Commission" to go out into all the world preaching the Gospel.
Some of the goals of this ministry include additional church planting, establishing training and discipleship headquarters, building more schools and health facilities, providing running water and electricity, and teaching nationals how to develop resources.
