| I admit when I first saw the previews I was not impressed nor intersted in another reality series. I didn't even see the first few shows. I even forgot it was a show until one night my brother and I were lookin for something to watch and we saw a bunch of people doing stand-up. I stopped because the guy who was on was from my home state, Minnesota. I was like.. COOL! After I wiped away my tears from crying of laughter over his "blackout" set....and saw he made it to the finals...I HAD to watch. I wanted to see if he won. Sadly, he didn't....but in my mind he is still the funniest one there (although his good buddy Rich Vos also had me in stiches). Dave was beat out by, Dat Phan...or who my friend Sarah, nicknamed, Tad pole. Dat won the show....but annoyed me to tears. I was hoping anyone else but him would of won....no offense to any Dat fans...lol....;) For those who never saw the idea for the show was a bunch of comics audtition for judges. They narrow it down to 10 finalists who get to share a house in LA. A mansion, rather. Each week they comics had tasks to do, like a scavenger hunt. Then the person who won each task was made so they couldn't be voted off. Each person would go into a booth and vote for who they thought they were funnier than. The person with the most votes....got to pick someone who voted for them and go head to head in a live comic thingy. Then the audience there would pick who they liked of the two and the one with the least votes got sent packing. Then the final 5 america chose. I think we should of had a say the whole time..... Dave was in the first head to head with a guy named Sean. He beat Sean. Then in his second try he lost to not funny at all, Dat Phan. ARGH!!! Ticked me off greatly. Oh well....I am still proud to say I live 20 minutes from his hometown. This guy is freakin hilarious! |
