Field
Report
We
were welcomed by the Rector, Professor Myo Myint, who gave us a presentation of
the history and development of the Institute. The Vice-Rector of the
Institute brought us on a tour of the Institute’s pathology museum and newly
constructed library.
The Pathology Museum houses a large number of specimens including a collection of poisonous snakes and a gigantic model of a typical village house in rural Myanmar. The Vice-Rector gave us a detailed explanation on each of them and dealt efficiently the questions posed by the curious students. Information charts adorned the cabinets, providing the necessary background knowledge to facilitate the student’s learning.
