Field
Report
We
conducted health education on wound management, basic hygiene practices and
dental hygiene to the mothers and children of the Sunday school with the
assistance of monks who act as our translators.
The
heights, weights and mid-arm circumferences of the children were taken and the
mothers were given multi-vitamin and iron tablets at the end of the study.
S$1,000 were to donated to the Center for our expenses incurred during our stay there and for the Sunday School. Drugs, medical equipment and a used personal computer were donated to the medical center.
