Objectives

Education

1.          Organization and provision of healthcare services in a developing country.

2.          Maternal and Child Health and the concept of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI).

3.          Planning and implementation of primary healthcare projects: health education, anthropometric studies and IMCI survey.

Humanitarian

1.         Assist in the initial setting up of a Rural Health Center (RHC) in Bilin Township, Mon State, through the provision of essential drugs and medical equipments.

2.          Community service in selected institutions in Yangon.

3.          Establishing contacts with the health authorities and local NGOs in Myanmar for future liaisons and work.
