The common medical conditions are malaria, TB, respiratory infections and diarrhoea.

We were led on a ward round by the Professor and shown cases of cerebral malaria, blackwater fever and meningitis. Unfortunately, the patients are already on the road to recovery and all the signs of the disease have disappeared.
