The Hospital was built in 1899 by the British when Myanmar, then known as Burma, was a colony under the British empire in the Far East. Retaining its rich colonial-style architecture, the Yangon General Hospital is a blend of both history and culture. It's amazing how the building manage to withstand the ravages of time! |
