Future Developments

Background

1.    Project Somanassa was started in August 2001 group of medical students from Singapore to assist in the initial setting up of a medical center in Bilin.

2.    Drugs and medical equipments were collected from various sources in Singapore for the Bilin Medical center.

3.    A Special Study Module (SSM) was introduced for the project to allow the participants to learn more about the healthcare situation in Myanmar.

Questions

1.    What are the major problems encountered in the course of the project and what can we do to overcome them?

2.    What should be the focus of the project now on in its next phase of development?

3.    How do we obtain additional funds and recruit new members into the team should the project continue and expand in the future?

4.    Is the existing organizational structure working well for the project? Is there a need for a revamp?

5.    How can we continue the project from here onwards?
