Solterra is committed to protect the environment. We have formal procedures for dealing with transportation of any goods of a hazardous nature, as well as certified personnel, and we ensure that any subcontractors share our philosophy an apply our standards.
Solterra personnel have been some of the first to utilize western technology coupled with existing former Soviet Union (FSU) transportation infrastructure, to move project cargo via surface transportation systems, such as the extensive waterway, and efficient rail system. These projects included cargo that pushed the limits of cargo movement in weight and dimensions.
Hazardous materials require special handling. Solterra has personnel and handling equipment including surface vehicles that are properly licensed and certified to receive, clear, transport and store explosive, toxic, corrosive and radioactive cargos.
This allows Solterra to effectively handle any size transportation, cargo, storage, distribution or other logistics task. In addition to serving its own multinational and western clientele, Solterra has acted as agent or neutral service provider for large international freight forwardes including Barwil, EFL, P&O Tran European.
Presently Solterra is the exclusive agent for EGL a worldwide provider of logistical services expertize.
