PREAMBLE: The Association is formed because of our desire to foster solidarity and a web of contacts among ourselves, our families and sympathisers to our cause. Aims and Objectives The aims and objectives of the Association shall be: To perpetuate individual acquaintances and friendships and thereby bind the year group into a united fellowship for the social well being of all members To forge a link of friendliness among members and those of allied institutions through games, debates, excursions, etc. To organize, partake in, encourage and support any activity, which purports to promote the welfare of the members. To help maintain a high moral and academic standard in the Alma Mater Membership Membership of the Association consists of the following groups: ordinary, associate and honorary members. Ordinary Members Ordinary members shall consist of all students and all who were at one-point classmates to the 1985 leavers of the school. Associate Members Associate membership shall be granted to any Sogasco old student. Honorary Members Honorary members shall be those who originally are not part of the Alumni of the School but who are interested in the Association. The Executives The Executives is composed of: 1. Chairman 2. Vice Chairman 3. Secretary 4. Financial Secretary 5. Publicity Officer 6. Regional Representatives Sources of Income The Association shall derive its income from the following sources: a. Monthly dues payable by every member to the Financial Secretary, the rate of which shall be decided upon from time to time by the members. b. All donations made to the Association. c. Any other legitimate sources of income that shall be available to the Association. Benefits a. To provide support (material, psycho-social, etc.) to members who may be in need. b. Attend annual get-together, go on excursions, etc. as a way of re-uniting the group. |
