Administration department is backbone of a hospital.
An effective administrator is an asset to an organization. It is the link
between hospital's various departments and ensures the smooth flow of information
from one part to the other.
This Department ensures the efficient performance of
all departments in hospital.
Medical Superintendent (MS) acts as a connecting link
between the senior management and the employees. He provides motivation to the
work force and make them realize the goals of the hospital.
MS Day-to-day activities that are related to financial
planning, record keeping & billing, personnel, physical distribution and
logistics, within a hospital.
Finance
The business functions of a finance department include
planning, organizing, auditing, accounting for and controlling hospital’s
finances. The finance department also usually produces financial statements.
Pharmacy
This Department ensures the most appropriate treatment
is being delivered to patients and work closely with medical and nursing staff
on wards.
Hospital pharmacists can offer information on
potential side effects and check that medicines are compatible with existing
medication. They will often also monitor the effects of treatments to ensure
that they are proving effective, safe and appropriate to the patient.
This Department is also responsible for monitoring the
supply of all medicines used in the hospital and are in charge of purchasing,
manufacturing, dispensing and quality testing their medication stock
