CATS Refuse to be Beaten

The CATS just won't be beaten. Once again they devoured the RATS in a bitterly contested battle. We had 12 pairs this week even though some of our favorite regulars were unable to be there. New kids on the block led the CATS victory.
Golfnldy/Acastofmany and Pom_Two/McMe2 went undefeated for the tournament. The top ranked Ryder team of Jean/Dutchie were working on another purrfect day for the CATS when they were ambushed by RedRover/Opensesamenow in the final round. Rounding out the winners team were LittleSwan/Apache; Cathugo/Dittny (sub - Connie); and Felden1/Glossit. The RATS line-up featured Fonee/Rabbit; Lorrobb/Flaunce; DrAnnaLee/Coach; Elaine (sub - RoyRose) /HappilyEverAfter; and Computermom (subs - Jo_Fro_Mo and Francylou)/Podkoll.I guess everyone is feeling pretty comfortable in the tournament now as there is no lack of chatter and cheering in the lounge. It seems the more we play, the more fun we have. We welcomed a number of guests this week who came to kibitz and look us over. Some said they would like to join us next time. Everyone is welcome to come and have some fun. The only requirements are that you want to have a good time while playing some good bridge.
We WILL be playing on the 27th. Starting time is 4:00pm EST. Registration begins at 3:30pm in Social Lounge #2.
