Oh sigh, your lil ole hostess came strolling into the alley this afternoon, only to find that the dogs were lining up to have their way with the poor kitties, and, ALAS they did just that, ah me. You would have thought I said ATTENTION, LOL. What is a poor lil ole cat hostess supposed to do, just tally and suffer, lol. The big dog even came out, and decided it was time to bare his teeth again, and he did it with aplomb. (I shoulda dropped a bomb over him, oh well too late now.) Just kidding Kenny, teehee.

After the first round it was cats 7.5 and dogs 5.5. Yepper, we did it again all, another tie in the first round. Now I tell ya folks, there was some snarling and hissing going on today, my goodness. I was sure glad I had Moose there to protect me and be my trusty hosting pard, what a pleasure for me.

Drat, the dogs fought hard and did get a comeback (sigh). 8 games for them and oh my poor kitties got 5, so now the score was 13.5 for the Dogs (those mangy curs) and 12.5 for the cats (those soft and cuddly things you know, lol). Now those dogs were really prancing around and snarling saying the day belongs to the dogs. So with their heads and tails held high they headed for the third round.

Egad, those snarls and growls continued, the dogs pawed at the cats, tried chewing on their tails and promising to make cat kabobs out of them. Try as our poor cats did, those cursed dogs came through again, making it 2 rounds out of three for them. In the third round it was again 8 wins for the dogs and 5 for the cats, for a final total 29.5 dogs and 22.5 for the kitty cats.

What more can I say, it was the dogs’ day for sure and we congratulate them all on a job well done.

Just couldn’t contain them, lol, they were very happi, lol.

Our cat teams were Scorpiokirsten/midnight1952, ppp_P3/Star_392000, incognito/francylou, Killercat/catzilla, nuageman/sugarmt2000, coolcat/silverwindcaca, aimejou/imdj1 (good to have Iain back with us again), nili/cherryrvets, kittny/errikos_UK, Tis22/bobsgirlanne, Melkor/kittygolf, Orla_11/ruefulrabbit, and ccwaxman/samhosweysi (sub) alanmitchell for two rounds..

Many thanks to our beloved OldYank for being in the gallery. I think samhosweysi was new, so welcome sam and come again. Unfortunately, he had to leave on the last hand of the first round. Others seen in the gallery were Suzy02001, upswede, hbear, cave_draco, rainlan and I think I missed some.
