RYDER TOURNAMENT

Well I seem to be finding it easier (famous last words), As far as this week was concerned, with the exception of one mismatch, it seemed to go quite smoothly (well I thought so) and so I will be doing it again next week. I would like to point out that I enjoy playing as well and if any one does fancy a go at directing, it is not as bad as you think and we really could do with some others helping out occasionally. TRY IT YOU MIGHT ENJOY IT.

ACCUSATIONS AGAINST THE DIRECTOR

It grieves me that I have to make the following statement, but before I do an explanation is in order, there seemed to be accusations that I have been biased against the mangy mutts and that I have benefited financially or in kind, for fixing the dealers in favour of our wonderful feline friends. I would like to make it perfectly clear THAT I am totally unbiased and I don’t take money or gifts. Everything I do for the cats is totally FREE, I WOULD NEVER TAKE MONEY FOR FIXING A MATCH. (unless it’s a lot)

Well again as you all seemed to like the last format, I thought I’d keep it going until I can think of a new way of doing it

A spectacular start for the dogs, good training, team work and obedience were the order of the day as the Dogs proved their mettle
The cats fought ferociously but were beaten back into submission by the bad breath of the canines
As expected the cats just can’t handle the strength and determination of the mans most faithful and loyal friend

The Cats clawing and hissing come back in spectacular style, to take 1 five game lead (can the dogs recover from this routing)
The dogs again with accusations of good play and superior bidding refuse to accept defeat shouting and barking up the wrong tree as they are totally outclassed
The dogs were cheated and swindled out of pole position by dirty tricks and dodgy dealings

Despite a valiant effort in round three the dogs could not pull the match back from the brink of defeat

As expected the Cats romped home to a decisive victory
A terrierable result for the dogs who were settered at every opportunity, as they labradoured away fruitlessly

Until next week then happy bridging and spread the word only twelve tables this week lets see if we can all generate some more pairs to battle it out, tell any of the usual names that have been absent for the last few weeks that they are missed and we would like to see them back with their friends
