Ryder Report

What can I say, that probably has not been said, at all the great battles over the centuries. The Goths, The Visi Goths, The Barbarians, The Normans, The list goes on.

Imagine what they felt like after witnessing their troops get the routing of their lives, could you imagine Attila The Hun saying to his vanquisher, hang on a minute mate, have you got a handkerchief, well that’s what I felt like when all those mangy dogs started laughing and howling at the cats, last night.

I hope all you … DOGS … are proud of yourselves…………….

Big Dog is masterminding next weeks Ryder

I am going to change the format of my Ryder report next time I direct, as I don’t want you all getting bored.

Round 1

As usual believe the bits you want to believe

DOGS 6 ……. CATS 8

A terrific start for the cats, first blood was drawn by the mutts, but, as expected it was short lived, no STAMINA for a fight

The Dogs were not going to take this lying down and a steroid induced bone feeding frenzy was just beginning with some specially imported Columbian bones being distributed to (due to legal implications I can not name the participants)

Round 2

DOGS 15 …… CATS 13

A Depressing round for the Cats. The regular dealers train had been hijacked by some Cuban Dogs and the fair unbiased dealers, that usually come with me were replaced by some very dodgy characters indeed

Marked cards and ringers were suspected through out the match, but an inquiry will be held and I PROMISE this will be resolved swiftly and truthfully in the near future
The Dogs were just to DAM GOOD today and the Cats never stood a chance

A BIT IN THE MIDDLE

A very quiet day in terms of slams with only 2 Cat slams being reported and rumours of a slam by the dogs (highly unlikely)

A Purrfect Three

I am too much of a gentleman to name them HAHA, but there were six of them

Round 3

DOGS 35 …… CATS 21

I have been sitting here since midnight thinking of words to describe how this round went, it is now 11am Sunday morning in what can only be described as the worst Fathers day present in my living memory, I have shed buckets of tears, I have tried to write poetic sonnets about how the undercats were cheated and swindled out of a well deserved victory, but words fail me, I think this little adage (I don’t actually know what an adage is but it sounded good) I just wrote sums up my feelings:

The sounds of the hounds

Was abound all around

The poor old director

A shadow of his former self

Could not believe the result of the day

Come what may

The cats fell flat on the mat

p.s. still need new directors, it is fun and it is one of the few jobs in life you will be appreciated and thanked for, so don’t be scared have a go. Lets keep Ryder fun and up and running.
