13th May 2001

Hi all Cats and Dogs, I would like to thank you all for making my job all that much easier this, my first week, as a Director. It was a stressful time for me, I had to be impartial and totally unbiased. That was the hard part the rest was a pleasure.

Ryder Report for the Cats and Dogs (chose your own version of events)

Round1

Option A:          The flea bitten mongrels used every foul trick in the book to take the lead, resorting to better play and

bidding at one point. (Totally underhand, out of character and unexpected)

Option B:          The Cats were overwhelmed by superior play and just totally outclassed all the way through the first

round showing the true pedigree of their opponents.

Round 1 score was Dogs 9 (Hooray)  Cats 3 (HaHa)

Round 2

Option A:          As expected the Mongrels were unable to keep up what appears now to be a good (or lucky) start.

Option B:          The director was a Cat and bribed the dealer (favourite option here at the moment)

Option C:          Suspected bone-poisoning affects the standard of the Dogs performance.

Option D:          The endless guts and endurance of the Cats are helping them, to claw their way back from the brink of

defeat.

Round 2 score was Dogs 5 (arf arf) Cats 7 (Hooray)

Accumulative score after two round is Dogs 14 (Hooray) Cats 10 (HoHo)

A Brief interjection here:

No Major slams this week only small slams, but lots of them as follows:

DOG SLAMS

Dinkum/Cooljoe  6H, Bruce/Clearblue 6S, James/Lorainew 6D, Kalinkas 6NT, 4Wheeler/puppypaws 6S

CAT SLAMS

Bertkitty/Ernietom 6NT, Wombiepie/Producer 6S

Well done to all slammers

Round 3

Option A:          Faced by overwhelming odds the fantastic cats pulled back from the brink of deafeat and pulled off a well

deserved draw.

Option B:          The Mutts had lost the plot completely and after the fierce battle during the second round the fight had

left them leaving the cats the easy job of catching up.

Option C:          Underhand, devious, tactics were employed by the fishy smelling ones, unproven bouts of bribery and

corruption enabled them to catch up at the last minute. (Next week will be different)

The Score after Round 3 was 24 points ALL

Lets hear it for all

HIP HIP HOORAY HIP HIP HOORAY HIP HIP HOORAY

And lastly thank you to all the subs Precipitationdog, suzy cooljoe, Draco.
