Special Message Just Arrived
I just received a message from the alley. One of the carrier pigeons who frequents the practice in the park dropped it off on my tree limb, so I am now sure the birds know I am up here. I am going to have to watch myself more closely now in case they feel I am a threat to their plans. The message, which in normal circumstances would announce the brilliant comeback of the cats to win on Saturday, was tattered and torn. Slogans were placed over the writing in what appeared to be chicken scratches saying such things as "Down with the cats", "I hate cats", and a nasty remark about kitty litter which I won't repeat. It is becoming more and more obvious who the target for this fowl plan really is.
As near as I could piece it together, the message went something like this:
Hi Dave, Sorry to bother u but the rabble are wanting some recognition of Ryder glory, and this week was unusual! I'll give the teams first, week before was a dog win preceded by a cat win!
Dogs were: kennel/doghugo<replaced by computemom then popp>, pss/delta, jean/xborsen, gazettedaily/donkiwi, glossit/ccwax, mac/lorr, sandra/jamesgrey, doc/rwcarol, border/pom, and the puppies bumble and ryder
Cats were: pob/holyguy, jin/francy, ditt/errik, scorpio/midnight, paula/dpman, ladybug/ksswenson, harle/galeb, bear/jjwren,bobmt/nanook, pom_two/tis, godzilla/killercat_13, and turncoats the brats max and rover!
overall result 26-22 cats!!!!

Super subs were popp, computermom, talking stick was eager but backed out and rueful! mom_ox was going to but not sure whether it actually happened!

It should be obvious to the reader that the entire message has been written in some sort of secret code. I am in the process of breaking the code and will let you know the true meaning as soon as I can. I think I have figured out part of it and will share that much with you now.
Iain (IMDJ1) is certainly saying he loves directing and seems unwilling to give it up in the near future. Also, he seems to be wanting to switch sides and become a dog. Note the fact that he mentioned an old glorious win for the dogs, and listed the dogs team FIRST!! If this is not enough, the clever use of the letter u in place of an actual word "you" could have no other meaning than "Usually a cat, but Unable to stay loyal - Ultimately wish to become a dog". Another secret message I picked up was his use of the term "enjoy the rest of your break". Break what, I ask. Is he suggesting I break something so that I must rest? Looks like more support for the theory that he loves directing in the Alley.
