Despite dirty doggie deeds, the clever cats clawed courageously to ward off a last minute surge. Having jumped to one of the now infamous first round cat leads, the cats seemed happy enough to coast through the rest of the day. The dogs, led by the BigDog himself, crept silently into the cat locker room between rounds. There they slipped a Mickifinn into the cats' drinks. Needless to say when a Mickifinn is added to an already potent catnip punch, it makes for some dozy cats. The plan was working fine throughout the second round with many of the cats falling asleep allowing the dogs to win 9 of the 14 matches. Someone got suspicious and started asking questions between the second and third rounds. A cat made the accusation that someone had slipped them the Mickifinn. "Not so" insisted Ryderpuppy. Her human would never be caught dead taking a catnap in the catnip. It must be an imposter and therefore not a real Mickifinn. Well, the dogs may have escaped prosecution on this technicality, but the wary cats dumped the barrel and made a new catnip brew. They managed to hold on for a one match victory and a final score of Cats - 29, Dogs - 27.

We celebrated Scorpiokirsten's birthday today even though it was really yesterday. It won't be long now till she is allowed to buy beer.

Congratulations to our friend Orla. She recently won a tournament in the ADVANCED lounge. Another milestone surpassed.
