"Emergency Hysterical Ryder Director. Please state the nature of the emergency." This became my stock reply as my comm system burst to life on Saturday. "Captain Yank's not beamed into the alley!" was one reply another informed me that his computer was malfunctioning. As a result I beamed into Max's Alley hoping that Scottie had done enough to my damaged warp core to keep me online long enough to preserve the Prime Directive, aka Max's Code of Conduct, and avoid all out inter-species war.

Unfortunately my warp core was too unstable and I ended up dematerializing 5 times. As a result I am unable to make much comment on the intense between round negotiations. I was so unstable (what's new I hear you ask) that the third round pairings were posted by ensign Errikos via communicators (mobile phones)

I started to panic when in my absence Lieutenant Puppyvw communicated a near riot. I was hoping that ensign Katastrofix was not living up to his name!

When I finally re-materialized Captain Yank had appeared after a mind meld I think as he was wearing commander Felden's uniform!

Can I thank all of you for your patience and I hope that Capt Yank will be back on the bridge next week!
