Ayate Square Washcloth

Ayate is a fiber woven cloth that comes from the Maguey (agave salminae). It is a productive fiber that has been used in the “Valle Del Mazquital” located in the central part of Mexico. Hand-woven by native Mexican Indians, who traditionally use ayate for household uses, such as washing dishes & personal care. Using an ayate washcloth or scrubber revitalizes the whole body, exfoliates dead skin cells, cleanses pores and stimulates circulation. Agave fiber washcloths are soft, mildew resistant yet durable enough for one year of daily use.
