SNUGGLEWHIPPERS

Gig 1: The Cask and Bottle.  This gig was in a way the forming of the snugglewhippers.
Despite Alex Hawkins and Steve 'Craddock' Melville already having created the band, this was the gig where Tom 'Derek' Gallaher and Ben 'Ryback' Enock joined the band on the Drums and Bass respectively.  Despite Alex and Steve being a bit pissed and Derek and Ben not knowing the songs, it went exceptionally well, except when Alex and Steve picked a fight with the entire skating 'massif' of Stratford.  Oh and also when we got chucked out.  Still a successful night, and the beginning of many great things to come for the
snugglewhippers.

Gig 2 : Camden British Legion.  Despite there being many great bands on at this gig, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly when the Snugglewhippers came onstage to perform a short set.  Although admittedly all members had consumed maybe a few too many alcoholic beverages, they still managed to keep their professional edge and once again provide the sell-out audience with some excellent entertainment.  Who can forget the excellent Inspector Gadget, the outstanding My Day Out, the wonderful Harsh Truth, the exceptional Coffee and Cream and the note for note perfect cover of Mechanical Wonder.  The Snugglewhippers proved on this night that they were not a joke band, and you know aswell as I do that the it's only a matter of time before we are signed.

Gig 4 : Cinema Bar - If you could turn last night into a material, i'm sure you could weave dreams from it, because, as the saying goes, this was the stuff of dreams. After fantastic sets from fruit corner and antihero, the whippers once again graced the stage and, with their nerves relaxed after a few drinks, played out of their collective skins. The crowd predictably lost their heads and the gig had to be cut short before someone got hurt. Nevertheless, the whippers, who only recieved a £30 bar tab for their troubles, which went in under 80seconds, were back were they should be, rocking the streets of shakespeares own stratford.
