Codenames: Krizu, Krzstus The
Magnificient, Auntie SnowGrouse etc etc etc... Distinguishing features: a deep,
loud voice, height of 152cm (5 ft), maniacal
grin, diabolical laughter, red hair down to
arse. Constantly talking. Opinionated. Loves to
discuss *anything*, even touchy subjects like sex,
in great detail. Often thought somehow vulgar
because of this...(insert innocent smile here) Obsessions: The Web. (Well DUH.) Others? *Bitter Laughter* too many
to mention...some of them have their own
separate shrines here: Films, TV.
Hobbies: Drawing, writing, Photoshop, Yoga (the Ancient And Venerable Lazy-Ass Path), cinema, reading, history...
Philosophies I can relate to: Ecological awereness, equal
rights, the right to hate the Right for wanting to take away our Rights.
Totem Animal:
"Gwabaackk?"
Favourite food: Almost anything
vegetarian, preferably Italian. And the
occasional chocolate is a *necessity*. Favourite drinks: orange juice, herbal
teas. Honest.
Musical taste: omnivorous. Almost anything
*except* the stuff in the charts.
Alternative rock, 70's glam, 80's goth/electro,
not much metal nowadays, but everybody has a past;). Also Celtic stuff like
Loreena McKennitt and modern Scandinavian ehtno--Hedningarna and Gjallarhorn. My
favorite group of all time must be Dead
Can Dance, partly because of the diversity
of their music: it cannot be shoved into any category.
Fictional characters that could
have been modelled after me for all I know:
Michael Palin's
"Bugsy" in
"Fierce Creatures": Can't shut up. Constantly
lecturing about the qualities of this and
that while nobody's
interested, a walking-talking encyclopedia
(on the things that
interest him the most) and goddamn ANNOYING
at that. So don't ask me about
religio-semantic
views on the sociopsychology of 13th
century crusaders and how these patterns
were diffused amongst different social
classes whilst reflecting on the impact
of climatical changes, agricultural
techniques and Moorish influence on this
particular period's cultural models and
mentalities unless you are really, REEALLY
interested in discussing that subject.
Becca's "Cynthia" in The
Sith Academy. So Auntie it gave me goosepumps. Much abused
nowadays though *pout*... Stimpy. 'nuff said.
I have to admit this. Kathy Burke's "Linda"
in "Gimme Gimme Gimme". When I saw the
first few episodes I was laughing and
groaning at the same time, since
the character of
Linda is such a perfect parody of the type of person I'm probably seen as...(at least when I'm drunk!)
Loud, struggling with overweight, randy--and very, very vulgar. With unkenmpt red hair to match.
