The Tide Almost Turning
The battle's taking place in the Paco river valley, have been decidedly in the Draconis combine's favor. the battles at Adrienne Lake, have cost the confederation alot of mechs. The latest battle there was a glimpse of hope shattered by the fate of the rest of the battles. An Awesome met a Mauler alone on the feild of battle there as challenged. The fight was feirce, and drawn out to the advantage of the Mauler. the final moments of the battle consisted of the two mechs blasting at each other with out movement. the final blows to the mauler destroyed his torsos taking his XL engine with him, but not before his AC2's tore a hole in the awesome's chest killing him in the same fashion. now both mechs lay motionless on the battlefield neither side feeling any satisfaction.
